Ha, I was going to post that too, but I think that's just the GTx model that has been posted already on this thread. Not the new one.

Well TaylorMade has only this putter up on their sites. (same as the pink one shown in earlier posts)

Don't see anything available from them last that unless they will be adding more on their site. But that's doubtful. Hopefully @MFBachcan chime in today now that embargo is lifted and show us some stuff or confirm that the GTX is the one or not.

Few color ways up now but none with a black shaft and not the one with adjustable weights and toe hang!

Yeah. We'll Have to see if anything else is added but strange for them to add only one putter in a lineup and not the whole line.

Gt max moveable weights are 40g on each side...that's huge for moving putter CoG. No plumber's neck as a std offering tho.

Hopefully those will show available today and we can get some info as there's nothing from TaylorMade officially yet.

Edit - GT Max is the one from the video I posted. Seems the GTX and the Max are the two only offerings so I wonder what MF Bach was talking about?

So, to put everyone’s mind at ease… there’s definitely a new product in the Spider line this year and it could be a game changer. That’s not the hype machine talking either. I literally saw the benefit first hand today, and I’d be shocked if you didn’t see it emulated across other manufacturer’s lines down the road.

Interested to see what you mean, from the pics above there's not much changed since last time ? 😕

I’m guessing he’s talking about the GT Max. Moveable weights like that has never been done that I’m aware of.  Seems like getting fitted would be pretty big with that putter.

We had posted images/videos and were talking about it and he said it wasn't it.

Well then, unless TM has more than one putter release this year he might have been wrong or didn't know as much as he thought 😉

Well they got fitted for them and had them in hand.

Im right with you there. Doesnt appear to be too different from before..pretty underwhelming IMO. Atleast with Spider X and EX you could change weights out. This GTX looks pretty much inline with the last minus minor adjustability

The toe hang 18* is definitely a bit different too for a short slant. Seem to be going less and less with the degrees of hang over the years (specifically short slant). Spider X 30*, EX 28*, and now 18* with GTX.

Sorry for the vague responses beforehand. It was hard to describe the differences or specifics about without actually providing details about the putter. I was referring to the MAX, but I thought that was obvious.

I mean… I liked the posts that were accurate. I said “no” specifically to the standard GTX line being the putter I referenced. When the video shot of the MAX leaked, I said I didn’t think it was an accurate representation of the product I saw, and I still don’t. The proportions were bad, the finish was wrong, etc. It looks like a much more premium product in person.

Anyway, hopefully that didn’t come across as misleading. I was pretty excited about the new offering. The milled lines look great, it’s basically a Hydroblast finish, has the sight lines and general footprint of the traditional X, plus adjustability… which IMO, should really be called “customization”. It’s not designed to tinker, but rather fit the CG to your specific stroke.

We heard the phrase “return to zero” a lot when discussing the MAX, and that’s exactly what I saw when I was fit for it. Snagged these, but I was actually fit for the SS, not the DB.

Hmm.  I am not exactly sure what to think of this one.  I would have to see the correction in action to justify that price point and size.  If I am being honest, I am not really a fan of the look of this one.  BUT, I am not a mallet guy typically.  I rarely can find a mallet that I feel comfortable with.  I could maybe get along with the GTX.  But I don't know that I would even bother with this one.

It says 9 possible toe hangs. Any idea what they are?

Actually I would tend to agree with you.  It is intriguing.  Want to understand the nomenclature, is ss slant neck and DB double bend?  Also, what are the little grey orbs next to the face in the last pic?  Just an assist to move the weights I suspect that are removable?  Can the weight be adjusted heft wise?  As with all equipment, I will give it a roll before judgement.  I certainly like the shaping of the GTX better visually.

Obviously the weights are visible when they’re at the back (number 1 position) and it looks like they wouldn’t be visible when they’re at the front (number 3 position). I’d be interested to know what they look like (from address) when they’re in the middle (number 2 position)?
