KJUS Gemini Help

Looking to buy a KJUS Gemini Rain suit. I found one used and am curious about sizing.

I’m 6’0 175-185.
Average Build

My normal sizing:

Peter Millar/Greyson: Medium

Pants: 33/32 or 34/32

I don’t have anywhere to try one on either 😕

The used suit I found is:

Top: 52

Bottom: 50 (I'm worried about the bottoms)

I'm of no help specific to Kjus, but if I were in your shoes I would find an online retailer with free returns and order two sizes to test out. There's a lot of value in getting to test something out by actually taking swings with it on. When I was last buying a rain suit I was able to go to a store that sold them and hit a few balls with different sizes on in their fitting bay - that was a huge help for me. If you're going to spend that much on a rain suit you want it to fit just right while swinging.

I am similar to you in pants and but wear a L in PM and FJ atheltic fit.  I wear a 54 in KJUS as the 52 was a little too snug for me.  You might be able to get away with a 52 if you are a M in PM.

Does the size guide help? - https://www.kjus.com/us/en/men/golf/jackets-and-vests/men-gemini-jacket/MG15-H08.html?dwvar_MG15-H08_color=15000#start=7

You can, also, try the fit finder to get a suggested size.

Kjus does offer free returns, as, a return label is included in the parcel.

Well, this used suit is more than half off. That's why I'm trying to go used route.

You don't think 50s will fit.

I think 52 are more likely to fit. It's impossible to know, we all wear our pants differently and I like room to wear them on top of trousers. They have adjustable waists so more scope to pull in something a little big than squeeze into something a little small. So 50 may work, all I can say is I wear 54 in both top and bottoms and wear size 36 pants. The point being there is no universal standard for sizing, I can buy 34 pants from Gant that fit and might be 38 in European sizing like Meyer, but 36 is the norm for me in say Boss or Millar.

I have the Pro 3L jacket and Gemini pants, both size 48. The jacket fits similar to what a Greyson small would be like. The pants are definitely roomier. I'm a 30 waist in Greyson and on the Gemini pants I have to use the side tabs to get the waist to fit

I am 5'9" and 200 lbs. I wear a 36 in Lu Lu pants, and most other brands. I got the Gemini jacket in a 52 and it fits exactly the way I wanted it to.  Enough room for a sweater underneath and somewhat trim in the waist and hips. Fits basically like an Arc'Teryx mens Large.  The Kjus Atlanta Blue color is sharp and the quality is top notch. The jacket has a tad more heft to it than I anticipated, but I have lighter options too.

Debating on whether to get the Gemini pants, or the Pro 3L, or stick with what I have (Arc'Teryx). Also, not sure if I would need a 52 or a 54 size Kjus pant. I would definitely need as short an inseam as I could get.

The Pro 2.0 3L is less expensive, and, has more sizes and lengths available vs. the Gemini pant. It is an easy choice there, since, the Gemini pants appear to be out of stock.

Unless, you really wanted new rain pants, nothing wrong sticking with the Arc'Teryx.

Is the Pro 3L the same material as the Gemini? Reason I ask, is that if I did get the Kjus pants, it would only be to get matching blue pants to my Gemini jacket. And I’d probably see if I could find a deal on a pair on eBay. Even the Kjus short pant is not as short as the Galvin Green short option, so I should remeasure my Arc’Teryx Large short pants. Being husky sucks. Lol

The material is different, but, the colors should match.

I don't have either product. And, honestly, I don't get the point of Gemini rain pants, being able to reflect heat inward on rain pants to me would limit their versatility. Ironically, I don't play much golf in the rain any more (retired), my rain pants are used for my daily walks to the park.

Thank you. I haven't once actually wished that my rain pants even had stretch in them.  I do, however, wish they breathed better, and maybe that is the main point of both offerings from KJUS (Pro 3L and Gemini) over a Gore-Tex model.  When it is over 50* F, I cannot wait to remove my Gore Tex pants after the rain clears.
