Just returned from the course where I played Larry the Cable Guy for a dime.  I'm a richer man at the moment.  Larry is a dead ringer for that character and he's a 300 ball-a-day range rat.  When you see him on the range you'd think he couldn't break 100.  Typically shoots.67-73.  We played a soggy, wet course today at 6107 yards (felt like 7107).  Mr. Cable Guy shot 76.  Yours truly wrangled an even par round.  It's always good when you can whip an ersatz movie star and win 10 cents.

Had one of the most bizarre rounds I’ve ever had today. 9 pars, no birdies and +14. If I didn’t par a hole, it was a disaster. Had 6 pars on the front and was +7.

It's somewhere on premise, but in hiding as it's beat up and fugly.  A couple from when I took the group portrait.   Second one down in the second pic.  

 

 

 

A number of additional Bullseyes since.  Gather them on the cheap when I run across one.  Like this much nicer condition Bullseye Mallet X.  Likely from near the end of the Bullseye/Acushnet era by the sole stamps.  A couple of basement putting carpet rolls is all that I've used it.  Not fugly.

Does your club provide Mango scented ice bath towels on the course chisag?  Man did I enjoy having one of those brought (each 9) to the group by the Marshall or cart gal. They really provide a lovely brief cool down.

I am giving Chisag star treatment.  I do often wonder why we haven’t seen the Humana spot(s).

 

I have a face for radio and a voice for mute so I can only dream.

 

Who/what is a Larry the Cable Guy?  I will look it up in the interim.

 

I just looked him up.  I have seen him before.  He has done a lot of stuff.  I did not know.
