Which T model did you like the best?

T200.  I knew I had a low ball flight, so really the 100/150 wasn’t going to help with increasing the apex no matter what shaft I tried.  I went from 30-32 feet with my current and T100/150 to 50-54 feet with the T200.  I also gained 18-20 yards carry.  The biggest eye opener is I think my current are just poorly fit for my swing.

Haha yes! And I can barely see the 442 as a true muscle car! 😂

I’m not at all calling that opinion out.  I get why you say it. But.  Oldsmobile and Pontiac really lead the way.  And we can give an honorable  mention to mopar weirdos 😂….

when the early 50s olds overhead valve engines came out , ford  took a back seat.  And stayed there until the mid 60s. It wasn’t close . Chevy was 5 years behind olds at least.  Even though they eventually past them.

I grew up around a 62 olds 88 holiday coupe.  It had the same 394 as the starfire model.  With an oil cooled 3 speed auto. Which was ahead for that time. Chevy was still nursing air cooled 2 speed powerglides in 62. Theb you had Pontiac. Pontiac quietly made some of the nastiest production engines on the planet from 62-65 in big cars. Then the went nuts on the gto- firebird stuff until 70.

guys runnning pure stock drags series now fear Pontiac and olds. The only two that give hemi cars fits regularly.  It takes a L88 or Zl1 vette/camaro to do so otherwise and those are now million dollar cars.  Not many being driven. Much less raced.

Oh you can 💯 call it out. I’m just joking. It’s undoubtedly a formidable muscle car. It’s just more a “feeling”.
As for MOPAR, I’m a huge Cuda fan. But yeah, a lot of MOPAR guys are “different” lol

It's an apple Big Fish and good question. I just went and asked the chef.

I does serve a purpose. I helps to retain the shape of the head while it cooks.

If you do not put something in the pig's mouth while cooking its' head will shrink and collapse. You wouldn't want a poor looking pig head when you place it in the middle of the buffet table on display.

This is grossin' me out.

Oh I have to give them crap. But truth is I love oddball stuff. I was just raised anti mopar. So it’s against my religion 😂.  They understand.  You couldn’t pay a hemi guy to own a Ford.  So we kid back and forth.

I’m the same way NJ. I don’t play in competitions or big time money games. I play for fun/enjoyment. I’ll gladly play with equipment I love and feel comfortable with and MAYBE give up a stroke or two over 18 holes. To some that’s absolutely absurd, I’d have it no other way. We all play for different reasons.

... Haha I didn't see this til after writing my reply. 👍

... My journey was more circuitous. I didn't start playing til my early 30's and knew nothing about golf or equipment. I started with a used set of Spalding Executives for $150 when my friend bought some Eye2's. After researching and playing awhile I "upgraded" to some new Great White Shark irons that still had very wide soles. Over time as my game improved I ended up with MB's including Titeist 681, 690, MIzuno MP14, MP33, Nike Forged, Tour Edge ZO, Cleveland TA1 and Golfsmith 600B.

... Once players CB's became available it was pretty obvious to me they were good for an improvement of 1/2 - 1 shot a round. Doesn't sound like much and I imagine some wouldn't even notice but if you play just 4 times a week that is 8-16 strokes a month. 762B's were a game changer for me. And as I have said several million times I think playing the most forgiving irons you can effectively play brings out your best golf and your best scores. For me that's a players iron that allows me to control my trajectory and distance while adding just enough forgiveness. Some days I don't need that forgiveness, but on the days when I do that are stroke savers. They feel great, look awesome at address and allow me to hit any shot I have the ability to play.

... I also certainly understand there are many reasons to play any club and someone that loves the look and feel of a MB or a slightly more forgiving solid forged CB and could not care less about several strokes a round let alone 1/2 stroke, but play them because they just like playing them. The trouble I have with WRX more than any other forum I have ever frequented is the MB QAnon posts from the zealot members that try and convince everyone else they should be playing MB's too. As someone that taught and someone that made the journey to a + index, telling a 15 index that switching to MB's will make them a better ball striker is truly an amazingly ignorant and destructive theory.

... All that pontification printed, should you be playing something just a little more forgiving than the 620CB's like the T100's? LOL, absolutely none of my business and I really don't care. Like our favorite drummer playing a mixed set of Titleist MBs and CBs, you both seem pretty passionate about your irons and that is always cool to hear and really all that matters.

Good stuff chi. I said it yesterday and will echo it again now. I own/play the CBs and have hit the T100s quite a bit. For me forgiveness is negligible and the feel and turf interaction of the CBs is superior.

*just my opinion, but I almost never play and mostly lift iron, not hit irons 😊

Pontiac farmed out much of their high performance engine modifications in the early to mid-60's.  BITD, "Ace" Wilson's Royal Pontiacs were beasts.  Their version of Yenko's   Heavily modded 421 SD's putting out 500+ HP.  One of the Kings of Woodward Avenue.  (Where the street racers congregated.   Was quite the scene to the dismay of local law enforcement.) The latter Royal Bobcat GTO's are coveted and bring big $$ when one shows up for sale.

WRX is a true blessing in disguise. I came here for the equipment and what I really learned was…

-I live in the wrong place

-My pants are ridiculous

-Im waaaay out over my skis w/my iron choices

-My current car isn’t that great and it might as well not have turn signals

-I have horrible taste in music

Thank you WRX! ♥️😊

*Pardon me. Just being a dramatic Californian  here ☮️ 😂

My only regret is I didn’t find WRX 10 years sooner! With a little WRX career/business “advice” I could have retired at 32!! 😂

... Too late now and you missed out on your Red Hat, living in Sarasota, driving a Dodge Ram Truck and playing Muira Baby Blades.
