Living in NC I know a great many Duke fans, but none as passionate as @NCLancer and Mrs. NCL. That game last night had to be sweet for you two for sure. I don't have a regional or national favorite college team for that matter, so I found it sweet that all the Orange heads in the Carolina's are reeling from that loss last night in Durham.

Before I was fired from "The Technician," I was doing a hell of a job covering that scene and writing about it. Scored an interview with Ben Folds; which was rad. Well.  If it helps ( sarcasm 😂) I have a pigeon named Sir Frank.  So I think it’s a distinguished name …. And I had a great uncle named Franklin … but he went by “ Buck “.  I have no idea if the nickname is connected somehow or if it’s coincidence.   Useless info .  I’m full of it !

Pigeons! I'm the crazy pigeon guy of North Las Vegas. Long story that ain't over. 

 

Moss calls me "#4." My ex wife calls me "a******." Ms aenemated only ever calls me "baby."

 

ONE guy calls me "Frank." A bartender at the DD I've known for 20 years and was one of my first friends in this town. He's known me from the name on my credit card and I've just never felt compelled to be like "I mean ... it's Trent. Actually." 😂

Love it !  Tiger tears !   Taste so good !  They’re turning on Dabo!  And so it begins …. They’ll eat themselves…Saban retires , .. Dabo will make it back to Alabama as I’ve predicted for years , and tiger town won’t win more than 6 games until 2035! 

 

fanbase isn’t smart enough to realize that recruiting statewide is way down.  They’re opening up the north and western teams to the sec and acc next year.  This is hurting everyone.

I’m happy they took the “L”, but I wouldn’t say Clemson and Dabo are done.  Most teams will lose if you have 4 drives inside the 20 that end in 2 fumbles and 2 blocked kicks.  The biggest problem is they were spoiled with Deshaun and Trevor and are finding out that the guys following them aren’t the same type of guys.

Oh I agree. They wouldn’t be done.
 

I’m just saying that the Clemson fanbase is about to preform a mutiny. They do this anytime they lose a game.  But they somehow had hoped that this season would be undefeated etc. they were complaining about being only ranked #9 😂.

Amen to that. With my stuff i refuse to use cheap materials. All it amounts to is me working my tail off to save the customer a Buck.  The same customer who drives up to my shop in a new Porsche panamera …. One day several years ago it hit me “ why the eF do I want to save them a buck ? They surely aren’t tipping me with the savings “.   So I will use the paint I want , and the clear I want.  Or I won’t.

 I lucked out as he was going to be too big to be a show dog( biggest in the litter) so I got him when Frenchie's became hard to get

  Show males are supposed to be under 30 lbs and he is a muscular 37 lbs

Finally damn it I get to play some golf today. 🙂

I got short changed last week with only one round played and that round was a marathon paced two hours for 18 holes screamer. I had some fun yes, but it wasn't too relaxing.

Today will be my 60th round of the year. I have set up something that I think will be a fun challenge. I will be playing with coworkers and we are playing Broadmoor. Many of the courses in the Asheville are are punching their greens (if they have bent grass) this week so our choice of golf courses is limited. 

 

Two man teams.

Myself and R are taking on A and D. Better Ball format. 

 

A and D are getting 18 stokes. A is a 16 index and D is a 23.

R is scratch and I am currently a 6.4. 

R and D are playing the way backs and A and myself with be playing the white tees.

The losing team picks up the check for beers and burgers afterwards.

 

I am somewhat tired after working 6 days in a row, but I will dig deep and give it all I have.

I'm grateful that I am going to be spending the afternoon on the course with friends. 🏌️‍♀️

For the first time in 4 years we’re planning ski trips again! COVID hit as we were wrapping up the season the last time we ski’ed and then wrecked the following season, then shoulder surgery, then a knee injury - man how did we miss so much! Bought our Epic passes last night. We’ll hit Vail/Beaver Creek and Park City/Canyons for sure and hope to squeeze in a trip to Whistler with our son, DIL and grandson, who live in Seattle. Depends on the snow and how early the season starts. We have to wrap up by early March as we’re heading to South Korea to visit our daughter, SIL and new granddaughter. There are some Japanese slopes on the Epic pass, so that might be a possibility while in Asia, but unlikely.

 

With temps back in the 100s, it’s fun to think about snow and bluebird days like the one below at Whistler.
