Love what my pal Ariel wrote for "Outlaw." Actually love the whole of the words to that tune. 

 

A lot of the time, I'll prefer women songwriters purely because it's a different perspective. Sure, I dig plenty of dude songwriters and it's all "Ok yeah man, I get that, I been there. Know the feel." Buckner's "Goodbye Rye" might as well be a biography of my old marriage. 

 

But I don't know the other side of the story. Cuz I've never been on that side of the story. So I actually get more out of it.
