New balls damaged - TaylorMade Tour Response

I bought the TaylorMade Tour Response (stripe version) just for indoor putting practice. I opened them up and found that 3-4 of them were dented (as if someone trying to poke them really hard with a fork). More concerning was that two of the 12 had a single hole; not large but big & deep enough that I can see the layer under the cover. I wouldn't have really been bothered by the dents, but the holes aren't great when I'm paying $60/dozen in Canada. 

 

Is this something TM would replace?

One would think that with proper documentation and a bit of perseverance, TM would make this right. Sounds like a manufacturing defect.

First off the TourResponse are $60 up here?!?! Holy carp. Ball prices are getting crazy up here, going to stock up on deals when I see them for good balls. 

 

Onto your issue, I would definitely contact TM Canada or even go back to the store you got them from, maybe they have a faulty batch there. Most brands will definitely do their best to keep you happy.

Not sure about TM Canada, but I had a Dozen TP5X that I bought in store down here that had a handful with what looked to be pin holes from where the ball is held during the coating process that just didn’t get filled in. 
 

TM sent out a whole new dozen as a replacement for the sleeve

Taylormade seems to have more faulty equipment issues than anyone else. I know they have to produce the most to meet demand but dang!

My playing partner had the same issue and the paint on one of his new blue stripe ball was patchy and he ordered directly from TM. I wish I had taken a picture of it.

TM is shipping me a new box. Not sure how many they're sending. 

 

Their CS seems swamped. Took two weeks to get a response, then days would pass between emails. Didn't really seem happy about it, almost as if they were personally paying for it 😅
