I found the T150s to look nearly identical to my current T100s (9 through 3 iron).

Ordered 9 through 5 iron T150 and 5 through 3 iron T200, all two degrees weak. Not sure what 5 iron I will play; will depend on yardage gaps as the T200s are a bit stronger.

Whats the difference between 21 T100S and T150s?

As a low spin, lower height hitter myself, I am also looking at doing the 150 bent 1-2 weak, and then the 200 in the long irons also 2 weak. That’s what I did with my zx7 bent 2 weak without any issues

Hm any specific reason why? the sole? or just largeness for  the category of iron they are?

I thought about your question. I took out the srixons yesterday. It is turf interaction. I used them 6 rounds and I struggle with turf interaction. Going to list them on marketplace this week. I need something I could get through the turf easier. I know that is just a me thing. The old srixons I had no problem with.

Anyone considering the T150s and having the lofts weakened?

I want the little bit of forgiveness that the T150 seem to offer over the T100, but don't want to play a PW at 44. And i don't want the mixed set.

Go AP2 I guess? There are some guys who weakened the lofts in the t100s and it removed all offset. Matter of preference, but not inconsequential.

Was supposed to have a fitting today.  12pm appointment booked through a local indoor facility with Titleist doing the fitting and offering 45 minute slots.  Walked out at 12:55pm and the fitter was still working with someone else.  Was also working with the same person at 11:35 when I got there to warm up.  Beyond disappointing!  I really wanted to order the T150’s!

Are they still using D18 tungsten or did they upgrade to D19?

High Density D18 Tungsten creates higher MOI and precise CG placement increasing launch and forgiveness in the T100, T150, T200 3-7 irons. It did not specify 3-7 only in the T350.

Does the new T100 have the muscle channel in the back like the T100S?

I did not see anything on the T100. The T150 "Muscle Channel - Engineered to provide added speed, the refined Muscle Channel in T150 sits close to the face to create a more solid feel."

are T150 heads really 10 grams heavier?

wouldn’t that affect swing weight by quite a bit.

What!? This is the very first I have heard that the 150 heads may be 10 grams heavier. That would definitely change the swingweight.

TXG video up.

Huge praise for the T200.

Ian suggesting he'll play T200's in the 4 and 5 iron.. T150 6 iron on..

If someone at his level is playing T200 5 iron I have no right to think I should game the T150 in that spot.

Might need to re-think where I split my combo..

I have a feeling t200 4 & 5 and t150 6-pw or gw depending on wedge use and gapping will be a very common set this year

My current thoughts as follows:

T200 - 4-5
T150 - 6-PW

T100 - 50* GW

The T100 in the GW spot was inspired by an earlier post in this thread. The 48* GW in the T150 leaves too much room for wedges.

I do like this. I currently have zipcore wedges 56 and 60, so definitely dont want a 44 PW and 48 GW and then needing another club. Bending the 150 PW to 45, and T100 GW at 50, and then my wedges probably makes sense. Not sure if how much it would matter bending the 150 GW 48->50..

I dropped the GW in my T100S for that reason and use a 50 degree wedge. T22 50-07 love those wedges then 54,58

There is no way that is correct. I guess he means it has 10g more Tungsten.

like some of you probably read from my post, I was surprised by that… and immediately thought about SW. Didn’t want to probe more about it since we were all focusing on the fitting.

what I do not know is if there’s 10g more tungsten and offset elsewhere to maintain a similar head weight.

Sorry, my original post meant the plural version of T100, not that I play the 2021 T100S. 🙂

I think the 2021 T100S and 2023 T150 are both 2 degrees stronger than the 2021 T100… but I’ll have to double check that as I didn’t even ask! I play the 2021 T100 two weaker than stock.

Edit: for those wondering, T150 is same stock loft at 2021 T100S (two stronger than T100). My yardage gaps might be all messed up now.

I opted to play a 48* SM9 along with my 50,54,and 58 SM9. Playing the 21* T200 4 iron allowed me to drop my hybrid because this gapping wouldn't have made sense with the hybrid. I was carrying the T150 PW around 145 and the SM9 around 135 so it kind of worked perfectly at the bottom end of my bag since my stock 50* is 125. I was tempted to go with the 150 GW but I'm more comfortable hitting a soft SM9 when needed and knowing I won't get a jumper.

Im thinking of going 6-PW in 150 and add a 48 wedge, with 53 57 62 SM9s finishing of my set.

i just ordered a 4 iron ZX utility bent to 24, to get me more options from tee with a higher flight then my 3 zx utility. Nice loftprogression with 4 all the way to 48 and try something else for lobwedge around the greens with 62.

just waiting on shaftoptions, would like to try something new the nippon. Anyone seen whats in the Matrix?

I hit all of them yesterday as my shop got them in.  The only one that seriously impressed me was the T350.  It felt the best of the bunch to me (springy and fast) and was stupid forgiving.  Every shot I hit with the 6i launched high and landed soft at the 170 mark.  T100, T150 and T200 just felt really heavy to me.  Sound was much improved on T200 over last year but it didn't have the same pop, IMO.

So I played with my T100/T150 set. The T100 did not feel clicky at all to me. The T150 on the other hand....You can hear and feel a click on center strikes. Ended up hitting my 6 iron T150 consistently at 190 yards dead straight. They have some pop coming off the face. My fitter made the T150 1 degree weak, I am coming off of Srixon ZX5 mk1 which have some strong lofts and the ZX5 6 iron is my 180yd club. The T150 is plenty forgiving and has a ton of distance. They look great at address but if you hate clickyness, they might not be for you.
