TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver - In Hand Pics

I officially have not hit this. So here’s a small review lol.  
 

I hit the 13.5 with a Kai'li white 70X 3w shaft. I must say this thing surprised me. Off a tee it was high launching and easy to hit, but I could also hit the low ball if needed. It looks great at address and isn’t shut like I expected.

Off the deck it was far more playable than I would’ve thought. Can hit a high fade to get on a green and still hit the draw I like with plenty of height. The bottom of the face seems flatter than I remember the 300 being, makes it easier off the ground imo. Head doesn’t look too big or intimidating off the ground but still looks big enough to be forgiving of a tee. 
Overall if I didn’t love my M6 3w I would consider it. Really surprised me.

As a junior golfer when the TM burner bubble came out -  this gives me all the feels. 

Give it a slightly deeper face and 9* of loft and give me a new driver!!!

My guess is it also probably depends on what shipping option you chose. I've paid to upgrade to overnight shipping on new releases and had it in hand a couple days before the "official" release.

When I ordered, I didn’t see a choice as to shipping options. It defaulted to Fed Ex Ground.

Saw this yesterday at my local shop. The manager and I both agreed that it’s a bit tricky figuring out where it fits into the bag.

I would love to order this, but can't build a full set around it.

 

Would have to get Stealth woods to go with it, and Stealth looks like it was designed by a 5 year old IMO.

 

Matching woods to go with this, and I'd be all in!

I don't understand everyone's confusion with this. It's literally a driver. It's in the name.

I can’t see them selling a ton but this is nice work and I can appreciate this filling a niche space in the market.

With TaylorMade it's the same adapter. 

 

Also, the standard TM length fairway wood shaft, installed in the mini, produces the stock mini length of 43.75 in., because the size of the head adds 1/2 inch.

Actually, I ended up trading a different fairway wood in. So, I still have my TSR 2+ 13°, which can now go head to head with the Brner. May the best club win.

I have the 300 mini and I use it more often than I thought 

 

Tempting but I think I’ll stick with my 300…
