2023 FJ StaSof toast after one round and a 60 ball range session

I used this glove for one round and one range session and it's already done. I have always used the FJ StaSof and I've never had a durability problem. They usually last me a few months especially when I cycle my gloves every few holes. 
 

From what I understand they are "New" for 2023 but I most certainly liked the old model much better. Annoyed a 25 dollar glove is toast that quick.  Anyone have any suggestions on a comfy glove that is somewhat durable?

I've been using Circle15 gloves and quite pleased with them. I often get wear spots in that same location and no real issue with those, they just kept going until I decided to toss them for a new one.

Try MG Golf Gloves! MG Elite is a great fit and under $8 per glove. The gloves are durable,

but I also don’t feel badly disposing of them when they wear out because of the price.

I've been using the Titleist Perma-Soft.  I've found their leather to stay soft longer and be more durable.  I'm very hard on the same area of my glove.

I had the same issue with the StaSof last  season. I switched to the Maxfli gloves from DSG.

 

They don’t feel quite as good since they are a little thicker but the durability has been great. I think you can get them for 2 for $25 or 2 for $30 depending on model.

Hang on hang on... 60 balls and your glove is like that? 😄 you be choking that chicken too much baby. Lighten that grip... problem is yours not FJs 😛  I am more on the tight side of gripping but mine last for over 10 rounds/range sessions.

Not trying to say nothing but... i hear.. from alot of pros... if your glove rips in that area. Your holding the club too much in your palm. Also... i dont have too sweaty of hands unless its 90°... i have gloves last me all season sometimes. I dont practice so maybe thats why also?

I’ve read this as well but through lessons with several different instructors I always ask them to take a good look at my grip and they say it’s good and not to change it. I tried to change it up (grip/pressure) but Inalso develop the same wear patter as the OP. 
 

i have midsize cord grips though which is a huge factor.

I have used MG for around 10 years. They’re cheap and I have used a few of mine all winter pounding balls and they won’t rip. I buy the regular DynaGrip as they are much more durable than the elite.

From almost the first time I ever picked up a golf club I've had a tendency to "regrip" near the top of my backswing. For many years I just couldn't wear a glove at all because within a round or less I'd have a few loose swings and tear the palm out of the glove just like the OP's photo (not saying that's what OP did, just what I used to do).

 

The past 5-10 years I've just about conquered that particular demon so I can wear a glove again without tearing them up constantly. But when I'm struggling with my swing that old tendency will still pop up once in a while for a few swings. So I might play 8, 10, 12 rounds or whatever with the same glove then all of a sudden I make two or three of my old "regrip" swings and that glove is toast.

 

That's why I switched to the MG Elite gloves a few years back. On average I probably get 10 rounds or so out of a glove but I don't want a couple holes worth of my regrip demon to cost me 20 bucks every time it pops up.

 

Before I discovered the MG gloves there was a synthetic Taylormade glove I used for a while. It was tough enough to survive even the club slipping around due to the regrip thing but man, it just wasn't as comfy and nice feeling as real leather.

Check you grip. It has moved into your palm, not your fingers. It's not the glove.

 

Edit: Also your grips are dirty. A fresh glove shouldn't pick up that much dirt.
