There's a you tube review from 3 months ago, and that's it.

Is it coming to the market? Was it canned?

I believe he was talking about their 2 fairway (13*) being used as a mini driver...

I turned my Gen5 down to 13.5 a while back and it plays great. Have thought about adding a Gen6 2 wood to replace it for off the tee, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Plus I didn't see incredible gains in Gen6 compared to Gen5 fairways when I hit them. Hoping the upcoming 0317 line of fairways will fix some of the distance issues off the deck in the 0311 line.

Yes I watched it. And I thought he was reviewing a mini driver not 2 wood.

there is no mini driver from PXG (as of today)

 

it’s a 2 wood with 13 degree of loft which you can buy straight off their website.

 

you can change the loft +/- 1-1.5 degrees, so theoretically you could set it to 11.5 degrees, no idea why anyone would do that, but you can 😄

Thanks. I'm tempted. The only difference between that 2 wood and a mini driver is the head size.

It depends on the head construction.

I've had this (G4) in my bag now for a couple of years and it's a rocket. Same shaft as my Driver and it is very easy to elevate and hit off the fairway.

The "mini driver" he is referring to in the video is a 2 wood, which is pretty much the same thing as a mini driver in size and loft.  And yes, you should get one because they are rockets

I have ( and had a while ) the 13* 2wd with an Autoflex SF 505 shaft and this thing is a rocket. It only has 2 weight ports but I use it off the fairway with no issues.

I don't believe he was using the PXG Mini. He was using the Taylor Made BRNR.

I have the 2wd in the same loft with an Autoflex shaft. It is a rocket launcher for sure.

 

The 2wd only has 2 weight ports and face isn't near as deep.

Will you switch to this if/when it’s released?
