Any new Callaway wedges on the horizon?

Jaws Raw came out a little over a year ago, not sure what the release schedule for Callaway is like... I know drivers come out every year. 

 

Looking to buy a set but obviously would love it if they cleared out the current model...

They just came out with new Callaway CB wedges a month ago to replace the ones they brought out three years ago.

I figure 2-3 years is probably a normal schedule. No way to predict without being in the industry I guess.

Callaway usually has done 2 year wedge cycles for their mainline wedges.  I wouldn’t expect a new model until next year but I guess you never know.

Agreed. Earliest I think you would see anything is Spring. IIRC though, the MD5 Jaws actually went 2-1/2 to 3 years before they replaced them with the current Jaws Raw. So could be even longer. 
 

The current ones are on Callaway Preowned so might be able to pick up a “like new” set now for a good price.

Have the jaws raw, just picked up a couple jaws raw full toes. I really like that style.

I want modus shafts and to get the swingweights correct (1/2” over) so I’m going to order them. I just put 1/2” extensions in my current wedges and they’re around D9. I just went to lighter iron shafts and the difference between my irons and wedges now is pretty drastic.

Chrome soft x. Have not got them yet. They are at the store and will pick them tomorrow or the next day. Looking forward to the J grind.

That’s what I did. 54 and 60. My 50 will remain the standard jaws raw.

 

Unless I go 11 iron with the new apex.. 🤷‍♂️

I hate the full or 3/4 raw face on the new wedges. Still playing jaws forged and Md5 raw.

I’ve been thinking about getting the Full Toe J grind. I use to play the PM grind 60* and Looking for something similar.

So my wedges came today. Very happy overall with them. They are 1/4” shorter than my old Vokeys even though they’re both 1/2” over… So maybe Callaway measures end of grip and Titleist doesn’t. No big deal just something I noticed. Went with the same shaft as my irons in the 50 (modus 105, bent to 49) and modus 115 wedge shafts in the 54 and 60 (bent to 59).

Wedges in my bag typically have little job security.  I have nothing thought of replacing my 54 or 60 since putting the high toes in.  Will likely add a 50, standard Jaws.

 

For those asking about spin.  Theses are not going to spin like crazy (like new Cleveland RTX).  Especially in the high toe, where the COG is higher.  Which has helped me keep the flight down a bit.

 

I went with the black finish which is not raw, and has held up pretty well.

They updated and expanded the line this year, I wouldn't expect a new re-design on the JAWS Raw. Expect possibly a Rahm prototype full forged wedge though possibly.

I’ve had 52 and 56 Jaws Raw in the bag all season and I’ve been very impressed with them. Best wedges I’ve ever had in the bag and recently played the MD5’s and Cleveland before them.

NH are my initials and my dogs name is Zoe, but we call her ZoZo all the time. Only two letters allowed if you also get a symbol. I should have flipped the picture maybe if it's not obvious they're dog paws and maple leaves. 

 

I had a lot of fun with this. I almost got HOSLROCKT, CHILI DIP and SKULLED. Then I thought Doritos flavours would be funny - COOLRANCH, NACHO, ZESTY lol. If I could change wedges more often I would get stupid things.

No the maple leaves were obvious, I just wasn't sure what they would have been connected to (you could be Canadian or it could be a friend or you could just have liked somewhere you visited in Canada with those initials), and the dog paws were not obvious but realistically upon revisiting the picture they really should have been.
