Full Grain Leather Shoe -- Looking for recommendations

I bought some G4 Gallivanter's for this season and I absolutely love them. There is one issue -- they scuff and rip like no leather I've seen before. I question the quality of leather used on these shoes. Are they even real leather?

 

Needless to say I'm looking for a better alternative and a company that uses full grain leather. I know I can complete a google search, but I'm looking for personal feedback. A nice leather shoe I can apply saddle soap and cream (form) that compliments golf function. What do you recommend?

Royal Albatross uses real leather. Some of their styles are sportier, but the pair I own are excellent and I highly recommend them.

Footjoy uses very good quality leather on their Premier and SL line.

The leather is very soft.  No break-in period required.  Comfortable right out of box and on links.

On the Pro SL line I would agree a few generations(styles) back.  The last couple it seems the quality has been worse every year.

They previously used Pittards, but you are correct, the quality and craftsmanship of their shoes have sadly decreased considerably.

The new Adidas MC80 look like they use a very high quality and soft leather.

I've had two pairs, supposed to be full grain leather, and they garbage. The leather is cheap and the shoes are just junk.

I have some leather GrandPro and Grandseries sneakers from them in size 10 that fit my 9.5 W feet excellent that I purchased at store, these were online special pricing purchase so I went for it and haven't turned back.
