I got to hold the LS driver yesterday.  I could be wrong since it was just the head I was holding.  But, I want to say it seemed more compact than the likes of the LTDx and the Aerojet?  Maybe the matte black just makes it seem so.  But it seemed tiny in my hands.  But, so so sleek.  I am a big fan of what I have seen so far.  I also caught a glossy Darkspeed Max.  Wonder if that's just a Max thing or if each head will be available in both finishes.  Because that gloss black was really high quality too.

CALLAWAY was first to market with the release of their new SMOKE drivers, so hopefully COBRA is next.🤞 Cannot wait for the embargo to be over so we can see some online reviews of the lineup!

I can tell you it’s better than the Aerojet ls by leaps. After hitting it again my numbers are better than the triple dimond paradym. If they price it right it should be the driver to have in 2024.

Cobra has been crushing it with ball speed for the last few generations. So buying my new driver my expectation was everything was going to have to beat the darkspeed.

 

The paradym smoke is making my plans for a new driver way more complicated. What’s been shown so far callaway is setting new standards for consistency across the entire club face.

 

NGL I’m excited to get them head to head.

I’ve always liked cobra drivers. They’ve always felt the fastest to me out of all the manufacturers. But I really did not like the Aerojet line. Didn’t feel great and it seemed to launch super low compared to other drivers. 
 

I’ve hit the new darkspeed line. Much better. 
 

It would surprise me if the x model is the most popular driver this year. Low spin, higher launch and more forgiving.

Haven't been paying attention to PXG at all.  I don't think I ever will since you have to go to their place to get fitted.

Ha! Well not gonna be going in there either for a $400 shaft.  Only fitting I have had that truly fit was where I could see ball flight.

My college playing son has had the Darkspeed LS in hand for about a week. Has not been on a monitor with it yet. According to him it is very close to the Aerojet and by feel can't tell a difference. It is lower spinning than the Aerojet for him and he is using a high spin shaft. Made an adjustment from 9* to 10.5* because the ball was knuckling out of the air at 9.
