@R5TwoNot yet but looking forward to giving it a try, as I just purchased one.

Following!

I joined the club too and ordered one.  I have a feeling this face is going to be super soft and feel really good.  All the milled TM putters I have owned felt great off the face.

@TheMoneyShot I agree, I've been on the fence most of the year but stuck with my Toulon Austin blade, but Sat I played in a 2 man best ball tourney and a guy on the other team we played against had a Non Milled face Tour X after talking about it he let me roll a few putts and I think I was hooked, the MOI is something I can certainly use. I've also always had milled face putters and seeing this release this morning was just enough to help me pull the trigger. So I guess I can say I joined the spider team around 1pm today right after lunch LOL. I hope you enjoy it and it does what we think it will for our games.

That’s great!  I have never been a fan of the TM “pure roll” inserts, they just don’t feel good to me at all.  When I seen Scottie put this in the bag earlier this year, I thought to myself, man that looks so good.  Never thought it would be released and I was not in the market for another putter.  After seeing it was released today and knowing it was going to be in limited quantities, I decided I pull the trigger too.  Now I need to figure out when to be home for the delivery so my wife doesn’t see another club box on the porch😂

hopped on the train as well earlier today, gonna extend to play at 37 inches, been gaming a spider tour red for a while now. Was just about the get the regular spider X 2023, glad i was on these forums last night to find out about this.

even if it only has half the Moi of regular spider with the cg being moved up it'll still be a much forgiving option than standard blades i think, with a big upgrade in the alignment department and have great milled feel. Got a few rounds left here in New England then off to Arizona on the 28th 🤗

 Perfect timing TaylorMade

Anybody know what the head weight is?  This thing looks great as long as the head isn't super heavy.  I've gone to lighter weight heads to feel more flow through the stroke.

Also, they are gone already and on the auction site for 2-2.5x.  I'll hold my tongue on that for now...

Head weight is 355 grams.

My sis loves Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes so I went and picked one up for her on her birthday the other day. Placed the small pre-made cake on the counter and the guy rings it up and says “ok, that will be $45…” 🤪

*btw. Ur in every thread I read about an expensive limited putter release! Get some help dude! Sheesh 😒

😜😂🤣

You got that right!  I am a certified lunatic club ho, what else can I say🤦

I guess it could always be worse, that’s what I tell my wife anyways😜

Just arrived and looks great. Grip, shaft, and head cover are nicer than I expected.

Milling on face is fine milling, not real deep, but I just rolled a few balls on carpet and it's got potential to find it's way into my bag.

Thanks

Any feedback on the feel? What's it comparable to and is it about standard forgiveness for the spider x?

Feel: Very subjective but I would say it feels similar but a little more lively than a S.C. Phantom X5.5

Overall the putter feels really good, I can tell the weight is more toward the face which might help those who like to press forward, unfortunately I'm not a previous Spider Putter guy so this is hard for me to compare vrs the older spider X but overall I say it's really nice and I'll play a couple rounds this weekend and have a better idea.

Thanks

I am really surprised on how great it feels.  I wasn’t sure if this was going to have that great milled feel by the way it was designed.  By far the best feeling spider I have ever putted with (not a fan of pure roll inserts at all).

The putter is way too short for me.  Originally, I was not planning on extending it (I play my putters @38 inches) since I have 4 new putters I’ve been trying to work with for my 2024 bag.  This looks and feels so good that I’m actually contemplating on extending it now.

I can see why SS put this in the bag.  It feels like a fine milled blade putter but gives you the confidence of a mallet style.  I’m super glad I bought but now I need to figure out what I want to do.  Extend it or not, that’s the question🤦

@TheMoneyShot I would buy a New KBS Shaft, remove the original grip shaft together, install new KBS Shaft and then cut to your length and put new grip on, That way if you do ever decide to sell it it should be more valuable with original shaft intact.

I like the way you think👍
