That one has been floating around for a while. If you didn't know it was AK's, pre covid, it was a $1,200 every day. Add COVID cash and AK, I'd say $5,500-6,500 unless someone has more money that sense. I mean, he was cool, but that didn't seem to make his game amazing or anything.

I would guess $25k if it was used on tour, which it likely was not or else they would have said so instead of "we have not tried."  Nobody doesn't try when tens of thousands of dollars are on the line.  $10-12k otherwise.  Circle T have been dropping in value around me, but pro owned and tour used are a complete wildcard.  I have seen faked SC certs before - is there a photo of the cert that I did not see?  Do the A and the K look suspect to anybody else?

It has to be closer to 15-20k dont you think? People buy Ciscle Ts for 5-10k already without any tour use

I think maybe just because it is an auction will drive it up a little. I've anyone is paying 5-10k, I have a few to sell! I sold a large dot 009 to a collector, not a flipper, for 8K. In Japan, it was listed for 25k which is crazy. I have the exact AK putter minus his initials that I paid $900 for pre COVID. I game it regularly and would be shocked if it would sell for more than 2k. AK just has so little history. I've had multiple tour camerons owned and played by pros with way more tour wins and their initials still only devalued the putter. Auctions do crazy things though for sure...

I think somewhere between 18k and 30k.  There is a different vibe around Anthony Kim stuff given his wayyy too short career.

Used on tour isn't always the same as used for a victor(s).  It not like it once was but still both make it rarer and unique i.e. "better than most"

This is a production run putter with a few custom elements.  Unless it won on tour, or was at least played, the value is limited.  A hand hade, totally unique player-owned putter can bring a lot - I have a few of these and true collectors don't care if they were never played on tour since they are unique and player owned, but played on tour is better and winning is even better than that.  Hand made always trumps production run stuff unless somebody who just loves a dude HAS to have it.  If the dude is not super loved, then the value can go down if it is too customized.

 

I guess that what I am trying to say is that a hand made 009 with a custom welded neck and stamps might go for more than this production run putter with a few tweaks with a guy's name.

 

All of this said, some fans can be crazy.  Wildcard.

Yeah that Timeless Chromatic Surfer is beating the AK by 3K right now that I bet that could push 20-25k

I like the Rocco tour winning putter more than this AK one.  I might have put in a bid if it is going to stay near $500.  The stamps are cool and the putter is funky.

That Rocco putter is cool and funky, you definitely won’t see another like it.  There’s also a 1/50 adjustable face futura that looks pretty neat

Kim went for $6,300 plus fees. He was exciting but it like he was a multiple major winner. Plus, the putter is essentially an off the rack with extra engravings. Nothing hand worked or exciting about the putter really.

I was way off.  Cameron prices are falling, at least near me, but I am still kinda shocked.  Off the rack and owned putters are not as good as custom and played ones, but still...

 

Honest question, why do people go to this site for some stuff instead of eBay.  2005 Holiday sold on eBay yesterday for $925 in mint condition.  One on this site sold for much more.  The last 2009 Holiday on eBay sold for much less, IIRC.  I get that there are some clowns listing $3-5k camerons for $25k on eBay, but there are also some good deals.  I guess that you have to check both.

I think the golden age auctions are just bigger events with more concentrated (and international) golf collectors than randomly timed eBay auctions. Also the bidding increments are set, so 2 bids plus the 20% can turn something from a cheap deal into paying a premium
