Callaway AI Smoke Triple Diamond MAX?

Can anyone comment on spin numbers for the TD Max?

 

Currently in AI Smoke Max... certainly don't want this TD Max to spin more than what I have now, but Callaway website describes spin across the drivers per below which concerns me:

 

Spin per Callaway Website:

Ai Smoke Max: LOW

Ai Smoke TD: LOWEST

Ai Smoke TD Max: MID

Yeah I have it in my cart all setup but a bit hesitant.

 

Just feel like I just finally dialed in the TD. After watching a video comparison on ai smoke TD and paradym TD, kinda confirmed from my observation that the TD is not fade bias but more like right start line bias lol. Off center toe hit do not gear like at all and just go straight right. Adding loft and upright strictly for start line the TD is pretty good. YMMV

 

idk if I want to go through that again with the TD max but we all here cause we got issues right 😅

thats good to hear its not fade biased. As someone who likes seeing a straight to baby draw with driver this jives with me. Will have to hit both and see, although I tried to configure a TD Max now and they callaway site won't let me pick a head loft.

Very nice. The whole AI Smoke range would have been even better if the didnt feel the need to put the AI Smoke on the top of the crown.

TD was lowest for me followed by TD MAX then MAX.  However, it was marginal between the TD MAX and MAX.  We're talking 100-300 rpm difference.

Well, I hope I don't fit into one of those then and that their site gets fixed and allows me to pick a head loft.

I ordered with a 60x blue and it says shipping between 6/4 and 6/10, so I guess we'll see.  FWIW, the 7 wood I had previously ordered and was backordered was confirmed as being built this week after a call to Callaway and that order also states it's being shipped between 6/4 and 6/10.

Call them and get a different shaft, it'll ship sooner.

I placed mine as a custom order with a KBS TD shaft so fingers crossed. My timeline still hasnt changed from 6/4-6/10

Just closing the loop that I did speak to customer service and based on my order which was the stock Denali blue they are expecting to ship this week.  Relieved it isn’t end of August early September.  CS guy said it showed as ready to be “picked” in the system so just needed to pick it off the shelf

This comment coupled with my order switching to "backordered" again today prompted me to call Callaway.  I'm happy to report they told me none of the components in my build are backordered.  My driver is being built and should go out today according to the rep.  Again, the only difference between what I ordered between my driver and stock is the grip.  I did want to try the Denali Blue so I'm happy they had it in stock but would have switched it out if it was holding up the order.

I'm hoping to play this by putting a 16g up front and 4g in back. Currently have TD 14 up front and 8 in rear. If I can get a touch more forgiveness and similar spin will be happy.

I'd be tempted to do the same lol, but I need the driver.  Hard for me to believe Callaway didn't see the demand a head like this would generate.  They really drop the ball on things like this.    

EDIT: Just checked Cally website and none of the heads are available.  Wow.  I'm going to be well past pissed if they oversold and I don't get one.
