I still have and use that shaft in an old Adams 19 degree fairway wood.  Still a very good shaft

Tipping an OG Red 2 inches won't make the tip as stiff as TR Blue.  If anything, the Ventus Purple would be closer to TR Red, IMO.

I had the OG Red and it was almost too smooth which is why I wanted a Ventus "Purple" and went with the TR Red.

 

Tipping seemed like too much work for me

I'm pumped to see how they actually perform vs. OG and TR and then what the profiles and colors of the other two models will be. The color is something that would def standout

Can't wait to test this one..I love the matte color and want to compare against the OG and TR. Matte paint looks similar to the recent Folds of Honor TR Blue which looked 🔥. Can't wait to see/test the Black and Red when they come out too

Just got mine in this weekend. Going to play 9 holes with it tomorrow and i'll report back to you.  6X going in my TSR3 9* head. Previously played the TR Blue in a 6X and looking for just a touch higher flight. Its definitely a vibrant blue color. I personally like the look much better than OG or TR.

Dislike the color and pearl finish.  The deep navy Ventus TR Blue is so pretty.  I don't like this new Velicore + at all.  Looks like the $50 Diamana S+ from 10 years ago.

This is why I like it. I was an old blueboard guy, like a lot of others. Gives a little nostalgia with new tech haha.
