Solar sleeves?

Hi -does anyone wear these? Do you like them? Best brands? Do they annoy you trying to keep them pulled up?

Get Sparms shawls. No need to worry about pulling them up, high quality product, and all the women on the LPGA use them.

I use sparms sleeves and like them. Perhaps adjust 2-3 times in a round. Follow instructions on sizing!

+1 on the Sparms shawls.  No adjustments and no pinching on the upper arm like sleeves.

 

Sparms used to have long sleeve shirts with the same material as well, which were nice if you don't like the sleeves or shawls, but I never see them in stock.

I wear them almost every day, and can not recommend them enough. I have some Nike’s that i dont really love, the silicone ring at the top irritates my skin so I roll them over. I have quite a few pair of random amazon brands that kick a**. They are plenty durable and aren’t expensive if i want to replace them. I NEVER have to pull them up during a round, they are tight enough that they dont sag down.

I wear the Nikes. The silicone doesn’t bother me but the last pair I bought didn’t have it any more.  I’d probably start with Amazon ones but at this point I’m familiar with the Nikes fit and performance, so I keep buying them.

Sparms sleeves are very comfortable.  Never have them move on my arms.  If it's really hot and there's a slight breeze just drip water on them and let the wind cool you off from there.  Highly recommend.

Been wearing in Arizona for 10+ years. Sparms are best but Amazon brands have come a long ways. I wear year round.  Protects skins and is cooler than sun soaking into your skin. enjoy!

I bought a 6 pack on Amazon and they work great - there are a few brands on there that have great reviews. Couldnt justify $30 or $40 for one pair of branded ones because I wear them every day in the summer. And if they get lost in the wash or whatever, I dont feel bad about it because I paid $10 for 6 pairs.

 

Zero issue with quality either, I have a pair leftover as part of a set I bought almost 4 years ago.

I have a skin graft on my L arm, and if I let it get sunburned that is a major problem. I’m also a big Iverson fan, so any time I’m out in the sun I put a sleeve on that arm. The inexpensive Amazon ones work great. Use for a while until they get rough / uncomfortable, and no need to hand wash or take special care of them.

If you don't want to hand wash or get them lost in the wash use a small for delicates garment bag. Mrs GW has a few of them in the laundry room, they work great for sun sleeves.

I believe in them and wear them every time out.  I've had probably 10 pair and the only ones I haven't liked were the most expensive...Coolibar.  Just would not stay up.  YMMV.

Another vote for the Sparms shoulder wrap.  I wear them EVERY round, and even when I’m just practicing.  Not having to pull them up or having them be too tight is worth the extra money.  They’re pricey, but I don’t think there’s anything else like them on the market.

 

Btw, the unintended benefit of sleeves is that sweat doesn’t run down off your forearms to your hands, which is a BIG deal in the heat of summer.
