Hey mikey,

Since winter is here, I'm probably just going to save the DB's until the Spring.

So far the 915F is much better for me than the sldr especially off the deck. I went with the S+ 70. I have a GD MT in the driver.

I haven't played a hybrid in forever and so far I'm also liking the 915H with Rogue.

Any thoughts on the 48 vs the 50 grips? Not many places around me have them. Clubs look really good.

Hey Swiz. Not much difference at all between the 48 and 50 series grips. I mainly play the 48 (black/white) with two wraps of tape. Unfortunately the 50 doesn't come in that color. The new gameday series looks good though. My buddy stocks them so let me know if you want to try anything.

Thanks! I found your old thread from 2011, sounds like you've got some winners if your still using them. Couple follow up questions, you mentioned not liking them in the rain when you first put them on, is that still the case? Don't like to but the occasional tourney or buddies trip you've gotta be able to keep it on the course in the rain.

No "tourque" due to softness? I wear my glove out in the same two spots so Ive obviously got some movement going on already.

Played my first round with the x5 and I really like it. Not the smartest thing to switch from the SB when it was so hot, but I just wanted a change. Can easily swap back and forth between the two.

How are you liking the Ping G30? I am installing a B series in mine tomorrow actually. I have heard great things about the B series and the G30 is fantastic! This is actually my third one as I keep coming back to it!

Driver spot is a revolving door. Right now i alternate between the 915 d2 and r15. I could not get comfortable with the g30 no matter how much i wanted to

Sorry I worded that poorly. How did you like the shaft? I know the G30 is a good fit for me and I really like it, but I had a Rogue in my last one and while I got good numbers my fitter/builder said if he had to tweak anything he would suggest getting some spin or higher launch angle. That being said I purchased a B series in 60x as I heard great things about the shaft.

The 915 series looks great I just wished it performed better for me. I REALLY like the looks of a D3!

My god, those diamondback blades are the most beautiful irons I've ever seen. I have a set of SB-1s being built, and I love the look of their standard irons, but those things are in a completely different stratosphere!
