Who has had a hole in one?

i have 2
first was when i was 10. 5 wood on a 125yd par 3. the second was when i was 16 it was a 7 iron 165yd par 3 both were ugly hole in ones

I've had so many close calls with no ace that now I refuse to believe there's any such thing as an "almost hole in one." It's like almost pregnant- you either have a hole in one or you don't, there's no almost. Just my opinion after many sad years of no hole in one.

No aces...have holed out from 128 yards before (not an "ace" but like one except for the score!). At the time I was playing Ping Eye 2 Black dots and hit a nine iron. Was in a scramble and the eagle was the difference we won by one.

Just saw everyone talking about "near misses." Did have one spin back to the hole and stop two inches before going in. My wife could not figure out why in the world I was upset....after all I made "2".

I've had 3 hole in one's. One of them was in a competition on a 198 yard par 3.

One double eagle. on the 18th hole. 210 yards to the pin, slightly downwind, 5 iron. I thinned it, no more than 20 feet high! Lol. Spent 5 mins walking round the green trying to find my ball, was getting quite vexed, then in desperation, and virtually had given up looking, I went up to the hole, and there she lay in the hole. I was grinning like a Cheshire cat in the Clubhouse and all the way home!

Never had one. I have seen two lip out but never go in. Two years ago playing with a buddy early in the morning we caught the group in front of us on the 18th, so we played the 17th (par 3) again and saw him knock it in. Some how the ace went from practice to happening during our round!

I've had one hole-in-one, on a downhill 130-yd par 3 with an 8-iron. And I really think it's past time for another one!

I have a perfect 3? If that counts? Actually on the hole in my profile pic! That was the first shot into the hole, came up short in the bushes so i decided to tee up again and hit another one.. Nothing but the cup! I will never forget the sound it made when it went in! I had my brother and one of my good buddies playing with me.

It was 165 slightly downhill pin tucked on front portion. Hit 9 iron

I had a friend who had a hole-in 3.....she hit her first shot OB, then holed out the third. She was thrilled to get a par!

One hole in one. Called it. I told guys I was playing with to watch this hole in one and I stood up there and knocked it in. 173 yards with a Ping Eye 2 6-iron. 4/29/2003!!

I have never had a hole in one but have came close, best I have done was shoot from 125 yards in for a drop in eagle!

I've been fortunate enough to enjoy 3 aces in my golfing career. My favorite has to be the most recent. I was playing in one of our Dogfights on an extremely hot September day. I was walking and the other 2 gentlemen on my team were riding ... in separate carts. They were almost running me to death. lol When we reached our 14th hole, I grabbed a Diet Coke I was carrying to have a quick drink and the eldest member of our group (he was 75 at the time) said, " you don't need to be drinking that," grabbed it out of my hand and thrust a Gatorade at me. Then he asked what I was hitting and I said a 7 iron. He responded with, "no you aren't ... hit your 8, son." I did as I was commanded and hit the prettiest little turn-over draw you've ever seen. One bounce and into the hole! I don't think I'll ever forget that day.

Had my first this year, year #9. Nice 3/4 PW to a downhill green, hit about a ft past the hole and came back. Saw the whole thing. Never had an eagle on a Par 4. *sigh*

4 aces. 3 in the last 2 years. 4 double eagles. Crazy thing is they seem to come in bunches. Made two of my 4 double eagles in a 3 day event. And made 2 of my holes in one in back to back rounds on the same hole with the same club.

I have had one...it was at my home course here in Spring, TX which is just outside Houston. It was a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon, June 2009 I believe, and I was just out playing by myself. I got to #8 on one of the three nines. It was playing 178 with a slightly helping right-left wind. I hit 6 iron and heard it hit the pin, but didn't know it was actually in until I drove up to the green and didn't see a ball. I looked around to see if anyone by chance saw it, but there was no one in sight...so I called my wife and just celebrated there by myself.

Just one, July 22, 2012 at Falcon Dunes in Arizona. Hole #5, 180 yards with a 5 iron. Did not see it go in, as the pin is always shaded from the trees.

I've never had one. However, at the course I used to call home, there was a downhill par 3 that played 160, with water fronting the green. I've hit the stick on that hole SIX times on the fly or on a bounce and roll. I've tapped in from inside a foot on 3 of them. But they just don't go in.

No double eagles, but I do have a couple of eagles from the fairway around 100-110 out.

i have 3 hole in 1's. started playing in 07, my first one hit high to the left spun back right in the hole. 2nd one one bounce then in, 3rd on in the hole on the fly right after greens keeper changed pin. lol he had to come back and move it to a new spot, last 3 years 1 every year, same hole up hill par 3 about 135 to 155. they have a palck at clube house i now have my name on more then any other members, no double eagle yet came close 2 times. and i am down to scratch player at my course. other courses mite be 3 to 4 handicap.

I was young, 15, had just started playing 2 years earlier. It was a pretty nasty day in VA: cold, windy, and raining. I basically skulled my iron and saw it run up and into the hole. I had gotten paired up with 3 strangers and they were almost as speechless as I. I had a decent round going and ended up shooting an 84, because I was shaking the rest of the round.

My most fond memory was all 3 of the strangers bought me a candy bar from the Bev Cart on the next hole, because of my age.

I couldn't even imagine how much my bar tab would be now with the group I play with.

I've had about 10 balls within a foot of the hole and 3 flagsticks hit, but haven't had one drop since.

I have made a double eagle. No holes in one ... yet. I hope to get one before its over for me. Par 5 short one hit driver that rolled out to about 380 yards. I am not a long hitter but love downhill tee shots in Ohio in August like a dust bowl out there by that time. Hit 9 iron that released about 35 feet and rolled nicely in the cup. I hit two good ones and managed to then mess up the next 7 holes because I kept thinking I had finally made a double eagle.

I did see a hole in one during a high school match. I played with a teammate who made a hole in one during a nine hole match and managed to still shoot in the 50's. Needless to say that was the highlight of the day for him.

After playing 25 years and probably over 1000 rounds of golf without making one or even seeing a playing partner make one, I finally jarred it on December 1st. 122 yds with a cut shot using a 1971 Wilson Staff 9-iron.
