Honestly just started playing last week.. still cold here. I have another F-d coming Tuesday with a DI-8 so I'll report back when it arrives. I had the stock 'ahina in X originally in the 3 wood but didn't feel like I could really swing at it.

That Uper hybrid was an awesome club though. Great off the tee and every lie and the shaft was very tight. I do kinda miss it.

Yea its a good looking shaft. Usually hit 3 wood in the summer here shoulda hit driver. It was just under 50 degrees today and dead into the breeze. I had 211 to the pin Lol.

Nobody calls me Dizz anymore, was a college nickname/alter ego...lol. Anyway, Byron is nice. It feels/sounds so much different than anything else I've ever putted with so not sure I'll ever get used to it. Definitely a sweet stick but its so lively feeling. I haven't gotten it to the course yet though.

Just Dynamic Gold for now, not sure how long I will hold on to it. What do you think of yours?

Love the bag though, very solid and clean looking set up.

EDIT- any idea what the lead tape brings the head weight up to?

No I didn't pull the head. I can tell you that it's E1 swingweight though with the Pingman grip. Provided PING is close to spec, the head was supposed to be 345 grams. I probably have 6-8 grams of tape on it. I really want a grey or black Cord no Cord PING grip. Where you at PING? Love the shape of the cord grip but it just wears out too quick.

What did you change on the driver and FD? The FD has become one of my favorite 3's of all time. My only dislike is the hollow sound.

So I guess it would be too early to ask you to compare the CB's to the AP2's?

Its awesome, its a rocket! Ill surely have it in the bag next year, seems like it will be a great driving club, and its surprising how forgiving that thing is.

I didn't change anything on the driver or 3 wood, I hit 3 wood off the tee all the time. Definitely one of my favorite clubs too. Yea can't give you much of a playing review but I did demo them on TrackMan before ordering. My mis-hit is usually a little thin and TrackMan said on that miss the new AP2 flew 8 yards further in the air than my CB. I was pretty impressed with that...

You should be very proud my friend, you have a beautiful set of clubs. I really like your clubs but it is pretty obvious that you have an intruder in the bag.....

 

Is the AP2 712 a better iron than the AP2 710? If so, in what way? Please don't say looks, describe it a bit more.
