I submit the Jerry Barber Shankless Irons as contender for ugliest irons. Although the VAS irons are definately hard to beat! The Titleist KnowRight was pretty brutal as well. Ping made a putter called the B61 that was fairly ugly as well. Strangely, as great and iconic as the Eye2 irons were, the Eye2 putter was pretty brutal!

Oooh...I forgot about the Barbers. And Ping Eye 2s were pretty ugly too, compared to what else was out there at the time. The Titleist one I'm not familiar with.

Thanks for the pics, however I dont think you can really appriciate the true ugliness of those clubs till you see them in the address position.

I love how people say things like "anything Callaway". We all played the Great Big Bertha which was probably the single biggest technology development in the history of drivers. Plus the forged irons, excluding the new Diablo irons, look like normal forged irons.

Agree with the VAS comments but dang if it wasn't the easiest iron to pure. I never could put them in the bag but man....if I could check my self respect at the door they coulda made me a tour player

OK guys, we have the most knowledgable membership in the World on here so some of you are gonna be able to help me out with this.

The ugliest set of clubs PERIOD is a set of irons that were out about 30 years ago and went under the name RHYME. They are so ugly it is unreal, but because they were pre-internet, etc, I have not been able to find anything on them when looking previously but would love to see something to remind myself how bad they were.

I think this could be the ugliest club ever. For me anyway. The bad thing is that its not even out yet. I saw the pics at golf.com. Its the Taylormade Burner SuperFast. Yikes. You think the bottom is ugly you should see it at address. This puts the Nike SQ MachSpeed to shame. Sorry if I supposed to pick clubs that are out already. Couldn't help myself. I don't know if its legal or not to copy pics so I didn't. I'm sure you can find some.

Ok. Fusions maybe yes. But I shot lowest round ever with them 69.
Which AP2's are you talking about? I have the 710's. I don't think the old or the new are ugly at all. But that is your opinion. You are more than entitled to it. Yes, you probably will get flamed. Good luck.
