What is your go-to 5 wood?

3 and 4 wood seem to get the most press, but I'm sure some players have fantastic success with their 5 wood.

What is your go-to 5 wood?

My 9032Ti 18* that actually measures out to 16.5* but I hit it longer than my 3 wood often because of better lower ballflight. So my unfortunate 3 wood is out of my bag now.

Also I can hit it high if needed by opening up the face which will make it perform more like a normal 5 wood. Really an awesome club for me.

My 19* 904f is my go to 5w. It has a compact head with a medium face height that makes it very versatile. I can hit it from just about any where. This year I learned to hit a knock down shot with it and my 2 iron hasn't seen the bag since.

I believe I found something to finally kick the 906f2 18* out of the bag...the TM Raylor 19*...it is stupid easy to hit from any lie.

Next club in danger of losing it's spot in the bag is the 906f2 15* 3 wood...just need to find the right replacement...wish TM made a 16* Raylor.

mizuno clk 19 degree hybrid does the trick. 200 yards every time. easier to hit then a 5 wood

I feel like I can do anything with my 909 F2 18.5 5 Wood. It is easy to hit off of the deck, the tee, and hitting fades, draws, low, and high. It is safe in my bag, and will be for a long time. I've still not found a 3 wood to take its spot as the longest fairway wood for me yet.

19* Adams 4555 right now but I'm thinking of going with a 910H when they are available. It will probably be a stupid change because the 4555 is as good a 5-wood as I've ever hit but probably won't resist the change.

Without question my Nike SQ2 19* 5 wood with the stock Nike/Diamana Yellow S shaft. Only mod I made was a white GP Tour Wrap G2 grip on her. I am all Callaway and this Nike SQ2 just cant be replaced with any of the Cally offerings that I have hit and I have hit every variation except the FTiz.

Titleist 909F3 18* w/ DVS 60 Stiff. Very light club that produces crazy much spin. I am probably reshafting with a Whiteboard 73S or something similar. This thing is a little bit too much and very hard to control when it is windy though the ball is up in the clouds but I really like the club overall. Great head!
