Ready Or Not, Tiger Woods Is Back

I mean, this course the not cut previous experience etc. all would lead a person to think if he doesn't do well here, it's done.

Yeah, you're right. If a guy isn't there in his first tournament after practically 10 weeks of not hitting a golf ball, his career is surely over. Specifically someone who's already proven himself as one of the best golfers of all time. Yeah, he's done for.

Every time of late, it has been this way.
At first, the enthusiasm is tempered but the failures of recent past. The closer the tournament gets, the more manic the Woods faithful become, reach a frenzy level right before the first ball is hit.
Now we all know how it's gone the last few years. Woods sputters around, usually play 2-3 good rounds out of four, and limps away with people saying what could have been if he could still putt.

I sincerely hope that Woods has a good showing. He still has a large following and for their sake and his, let's hope he hovers around the top ten and is relevant over the weekend. I mean, this course the not cut previous experience etc. all would lead a person to think if he doesn't do well here, it's done.

there's nothing sincere about your post...why do you continue to be a troll? you come off as the kinda guy who hates tiger but if you saw him walking around your local mall you would follow him, sneak a peak into what kinda shops he goes into, what kinda clothes he tries on, how he interacts with people...it's gross to see you post in every tiger thread i've ever read on this forum. it makes me wonder why someone who dislikes a guy so much can be so consumed with making time to dismiss the guy and make him the #1 subject on your mind...seriously find a hobby

I agree and I have said it before, he shows up in every TW thread and consumes them with his hypocritical posts. It would fair to say that he is obsessed more than the deepest fan. I don’t know him but I can see right through his game, he is backtracking because he is afraid TW is going to be #1 soon.

I couldn’t imagine living a gloomy life driving a Volt waiting until Friday so I could drive my run down mullet car and my best memories were from 25 years ago in my 80’s rock band.

fear??? darkone you're too much...i could recommend a good psychologist for you...someone who can get all those demons out of your head...life is too short and enjoyable to waste on thinking about a stranger who plays golf for a living...honestly your issues about tiger is deeper then any of us can ever know

I want to be excited but the firing of Steve Williams has really "ercked" me for some reason.
Compared to almost any other player, Tiger has been extremely loyal to his caddies. He has only had 2? Wow, he is really dumping them left and right. Plus, Steve Wiliams is now a multi millionaire and probably richer than most tour pros. Yeah, I really feel sorry for him.

I didn't know Tiger had dropped down to #28 in the world.... :o
Happens pretty quickly with the way the points work in the world rankings. I honestly like how Donald has done overall @ number 1. 3 wins thiis season I believe, and good play throughout the year.

Tiger, Rory, and a resurgent Sergio battling for number 1 would make my day though.

Well, Tiger looks different... No miss to the left this time off the first tee - but to the right ;)
Another missed fairway on #2. Flew it 312 in the air though, so his distance is there.

You can clearly see his driving range swing hasn't made it out to the course 100% yet.

Geez 312 imagine when he straightens that out.
And i always thought you are the shortknocker if you only hit it 312 in a flight full of Golfwrxr´s...

312 is a stock 7 for me, don't know about the rest of you guys

I hope tiger and Adam Scott shoot similar score in the first and 2nd round that way they will be paired together for the weekend. Thanks about Akward!black%20eye.gif

That would be akward but I'm sure they would handle it like pro's.

I get the feeling that TheDarkOne has an entire reply typed up and is waiting for Tigers first miscue so that he can push submit.

Waiting to see his first birdie. Iron control isn't looking too strong right now, but no huge miscues....yet.
Couple decent par saves, bad break with mud ball, one legit birdie miss.

Playing about where I thought he would for a Thursday so far.
