That fairway wood is not good. The crown looks totally unfinished...in a bad way. Not sure what's going on with the pointy sole either. Cobra used to have a fairway wood designed like that. I don't understand it. Seems like anything on the sole of a club would just dig. Obviously it doesn't (I guess), but it's still ugly.

The irons look nice, but whoever designed and/or okay'ed the engraving should be fired. The logo is heinous, and none of the fonts are that bad on their own, but put them together, and it's just a heckuva mess IMO.

Love the look of the FW, but a bit concerned with the sole config, looks like the old Titleists/Taylormades. Will be very interested in reviews on how the sole plays.

I have always liked Cleveland Irons and I will own the CB's. I hope they play and setup like a modern 588P, one of My all time favorites.

Me like.... Glad to see that they are going with forged. The CG16's are good and I still play my set every now and then, but these look like an improvement.

I really like the looks of the FW. I would love to test one of these.

I'm sure these are great irons. I'd play them, no doubt. BUT they aren't the prettiest things to ever grace anyone's bag. That gold/bronze T/P/F(?) logo is a design abomination.

Our Rep showed us the line also. Talked about two new drivers. He called them Proto "A" and Proto "B".

Those blades are beautiful!! Would love to see something with zero offset butt I think those will be good. I'm not a Vokey fan but it's sad how much those look like Vokey's, they did a terrible job of copying, they should advertise that they're clevelands, not make them that similar to vokeys. The loft, brand name placement, even the stamp on the toe is just like it.

I don't like any of it. The iron engravings, stamping etc is hideous and the mashie isnt far behind with its "retro" finish and pointy sole. I'm really dissapointed.

At least we didn't have to hear the they are just copying Titleist irons or Mizuno irons like those two invented muscle back irons... Word to the wise---get a hold of a few old golf catalogs from the 1950s (Wilson, MacGregor, Spalding) and tell me who is copying who.......

Hostile much? Can't speak for everyone, but no real interest in interior design. I just figure that I ought to like the way a club looks (both in the bag and at address) if I'm going to use it as a tool to play better golf...not to mention dropping $900 or so hard earned dollars on a set.

 

And they do look an awful lot like various Mizuno and Titleist offerings from the recent past- other than the ugly-arse engravings of course

Liking the Mashie but that sole does look raylorish.

Im VERY dissapointed in the Stampings. Why do they have to have that dumb TF AND say Precision Forged? Just write forged off in some little corner and leave it unpainted. Clevelands only need to say Cleveland

Cleveland have missed the boat for the last few years, especially with cosmetics, and groove outlines that look like a FBI investigation taped off area

+1,000,000. I don't know about it being the best looking club since then but it's sure as heck a pretty blade design. If people are going to make such a big deal about the back of the club, then they're going to forget that performance and looks from address matter much more in an iron design.
