Dan at Par golf discount on sawmill road does good work but Im sure they are closed.

Maybe a good Time to go find some Utube videos and go on the Golfworks website help pages and teach yourself to build.

What do you need done? Perhaps someone in town could help since we are in lockdown if we aren’t “essential”.

In the process of selling my house so not a good time to try and buy a bunch of tools, ha. I checked their website and they're doing curbside service so I will go with them if there is no on here.

I'm putting the TPW 100TX in my UDI and would potentially like to try out some C tapers in my AP2.

This, I ordered some steel extensions, tape, solvent and a cutter from Golfworks. I am in ohio so I had within 2 days, extended one of my putters that needed done (already had epoxy from other projects) threw a grip on the next day and it was done! Best part I can do it again to my other one that needs done and have all the stuff!

If it's any encouragement, i had back surgery May 1st last year ... I had severe spinal stenosis in lower back as well as 3 bulging discs. I could barely walk and the pain from the sciatic nerve being pinched was almost unbearable at times and i have a big pain tolerance.

Dr Mullin out of Mt Carmel in Columbus did my surgery, he is a neurosurgeon and well respected and recommended by many.

By mid Sept i was out golfing and have been pain free since my surgery, i was in pain for several years and getting epidural injections in my lower back. I feel like a new man now.

BEST wishes to you, hope you have a similar outcome as me .. back pain is no fun whatsoever

Thank you sir. Not my first rodeo lol. Had back surgery in 2009. Lucky its been a decade. Surgeon who did the procedure told the wife that he would be seeing me again lol. He was right.

PSA: City of Columbus golf courses will be reopening on May 12 - I'm not sure what has taken them so long to figure out safety protocols since all other courses have been open and operating.

Played Firestone South last week, simply amazing golf course, magical and tough as nails! Not nearly as flat as the TV might indicate. BB

Hi guys, best courses to play on PA Ohio trail? Looking at olde stonewall, since we are coming from PA. We have played all the Avalon lakes courses, willing to play the main one again. We are looking to walk since the corona. Any info would be great. Looking a 36 holes each day for 2 days. So we need 4 courses...

I would recommend Kennsington Golf Club in Canfield. Been awhile since I have been there but was one of if not the nicest in the area. Since I've been there they have added on and built a hotel too. I need to go back up there this year that's for sure!

Firestone South is a really hard golf course - looks like it is in great shape.

Amazing condition! I love the South, it’s so darn expensive though it’s rare I get to play. It’s my all time favorite course.

South is a nice challenge but if I had to pick one i’d pick the North every time. Much more interesting and scenic.

Just saw today that PGA Tour Superstore is coming to Dublin. Going into the Sun Center at Sawmill and 161. Website says opening summer 2020. Lots of work going on there.

My buddy Dan down the street at Par Golf discount won’t be too pleased. His little Family owned store has kicked butt since golfsmith went away. Good place either way. If anyone wants to shop local they should check him out. Does good club repair as well. He has quite a bit of Ping, Mizuno, Cobra, Titleist, and Srixon. Don’t go looking for TaylorMade. He carries Zero except some trade in. He hates how TM treats the little shops. They can’t be competitive with the massive discounts the huge chains get.

 

I hope this new place will be better than golf galaxy. I detest golf galaxy.

I've had some club work done down at Par Golf, solid and quick work. Hopefully they can still thrive even with the competition. Im one of those guys that really likes to go in and walk around and browse golf stores. Pretty set on my clubs but purchase shoes and clothes every so often.

Played several weeks back and in great shape.  It's rare that they are no in great shape.  Not sure what their aerification schedule is, but I figure it's done.  A quick call should confirm.

 

On a separate note, Blue Ash was in excellent condition as well.  Two of my favorite public options.

It's a 2 day 2-man event: scratch and net divisions. October 16th-17th.

 

Day 1: Best Ball

 

Day 2: Best Ball + Both Individual Scores

 

Prizes for winners each day + total.

Hello, I’m coming in from Hawaii and going to be in Bellefontaine first week of May and was looking for a nice track to play. I did search Google but it’s deceiving to trust the pictures online. Haha. Seeing what the locals insight is. I’m willing to drive a little to play. Thanks in advance

A couple that are far away - Darby Creek in Marysville (probably 30 minutes-ish) -- cheap, decent little course. More links style on front nine and more trees/tight on the back.

Another one is Windy Knoll in Springfield (probably 40 minutes-ish).

I've heard great things about Urbana CC which is the closest and would be great, not sure if they would let you on if you tell them you're from out of town.
