Was thinking about this just a minute ago since Iknow we have a ton of putter collectors here. If for some reason something happened and you were only able to keep 1 putter out of your entire collection which putter would you choose. It's a tough question, but should be a fun topic.

For me I think it would be my gamer, my Whitlam Tour. For starters it is my gamer and I cant seem to miss with it right now, and two there were only 50 made and I think it would be the hardest to replace. That includes my 009 and Bettinardi Ryder Cup, those are both rare but because of their price tags the demand for them at that price means I could probably replace them. Even though the other two are more collectable the Whitlam would be harder to replace.

I want to know your answer to this. And don't give me a list, pick one. There is no way you could stick with one putter Chris. You, Reid and LaMont are the absolute worst (or best) putter hoes ever.

I think the 3.5's are the best putter that i have ever used.

Well, my choice wouldn't be too tough as I only own one putter as I am not as big of a putter hoe as you are Chris, so my choice would be my gamer now which is my Scotty Cameron Red X2.

Assuming that my daughter's putter(s) were safe from confiscation, I would probably have to save my Odyssey White Hot #5. It was the first "real" club that I got back in 1998-99 time frame (can anyone confirm when these FIRST came out?). We got it when we were REALLY poor, but my wife knew I loved playing. I have a few putters that would be extremely difficult to replace, but none that are quite so irreplaceable. If the mean ol' repo man let me slide with a putter I could keep for a gamer, it'd have to be my custom Byron putter. Aside from being a great putter, the resale value is nil with beruo stamped on the sole. ;)

I have many putters in my collection that have storied pasts and I have many in my collection that are more current in their designs, but I saw this putter on my first trip to the Mills shop and fell in love with it. My wife calls it the "Sleigh" putter, but to me it is timeless and reflects on T.P.'s work on the ever popular "Bullseye". This is one of the putters that came from the early designs of the Bullseye for Acushnet.

 

It is very "old school" and takes a stroke that only few posess to make anything with it.

Me and you both LaMont. LOL It is such a tough decision. LOL I know I know it's not fair,and it would never happen but it is pretty cool to see which putters mean the most to each individual person :crazy:
