Play Anderson Creek a fair bit, Keith Hills, Little River, and Bayonet....Live in Fayetteville

I love Anderson Creek!! About 6 or 7 years ago we were down there over Easter weekend. We had a 8:00 AM time at AC, we pulled in the parking lot and there were two cars there, the pro shop guy and one maintenance guy.

We asked about a replay rate since they didn't look to be busy. The Pro Shop guy said...play all you want "happy easter" I guess everyone was at church and had family plans.. We played 45 holes and probably never saw more than 10 other golfers the entire day.

Play at Prestonwood. It's in great shape considering the summer heat wave. The greens have held up remarkably well this year. Don't make it out to too many courses outside of PW these days, but when I do, it's Lonnie Poole or Chapel Ridge with the occasional drive down to Tobacco Road

I live in Greenville and joined Cutter Creek in Snow Hill when they had the no-initiation-fee special this spring. My family has a time share at Sea Scape in Kitty Hawk, so I play there in April and December.

I've played at all the local courses and many in neighboring counties (Cypress Landing, Roanoke, Cotton Valley, Cashie, Scotch Hall, etc.)

I played Cutter Creek a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it...How does Scotch Hall compare? I have heard some good things about that.

member at keith hills but, we play all over the area. Playing the Neuse for the first time tomorrow any good?
I have a friend who is a member at Keith Hills. I join him there when I can....love the course!

Haven't played the Neuse this year but I really enjoyed playing it last year. How did you like the signature hole...#14 I believe. The uphill, over the pond, to a blind landing on the green, par 3! I love that hole!
Hope the course is in good condition this year.

Play mostly at Falls Village, and Wildwood. Played The Challenge in Mebane a couple of times over the last few weeks and that is a nice course, especially for what they charge. Heritage is one I like playing but not worth the $80 weekend rate.

Is Cutter Creek worth the journey from Chapel Hill? They seem to be advertising it pretty hard. It looks like a nice track.

Played The Crossings today. Very nice course that I'll be going back to. Course was in great shape, plenty of challenge and I managed to par the 1 handicap hole which felt nice.

It took me a few times playing The Crossing to appreciate it but now I really like it. Gotta bring your straight game! Wish they had a range though...

Currently in a move to Wilson, but have been playing Bradford Creek out in Greenville, which is kinda like playing in a flat field with holes in it sometimes. Also have played Carolina Colours in New Bern and my least favorite by a MILE, Quaker Neck in Trenton, NC do not go there... Other than that all the other courses are very nice for the money and extreamly fun to play.
Head on out to Wedge Wood! Probably one of the best courses I've ever played for $20! It is kind of quirky but really fun. I never get tired of playing there.

Mimosa is a great course. I would join if I was a little closer. Not open to the public, but it's not hard to get on. The staff is very friendly.

I'm a member at Wildwood Green GC in Raleigh, and that's where I play most of my golf. There are a lot of great amateur golfers that call WWG their home course. It's no Prestonwood or Raleigh Country Club, but it meets my needs. Slow play is a pretty chronic problem.

Outside of WWG, in and around Wake County, I like to play Chapel Ridge, 12 Oaks, The Preserve, and The Neuse.

I try to make weekend get aways to Pinehurst at least 2 weekends a year. Outside of the Pinehurst resort (home of #2), there are some real gems. Southern Pines, Tobacco Road, Little River, Pinewild, and Talamore are probably my faves. Seven Lakes, Legacy, Woodlake, Hyland, and Carolina Trace are nice tracks too.

Probably my favorite course in NC is Tot Hill Farm, in Asheboro, NC. It's not an expensive bucket lister, and it's not going to make the cover of Superintendent Weekly, but I always have a great time playing there, and it's a great test of golf.

I see there's a few of you on here that play in Wilson sometimes. I'm a member at Wilson Country Club but also play at Wedgewood, Willow Springs, Bradford Creek, and Cutter Creek. I lived in New Bern for about a year and played Taberna and Carolina Colours, which was a nice course that wasn't crowded. I also play quite a few courses in Raleigh, mainly when I'm taking customers out for work.
