I'm new to the forum & it's only my opinion but I bet when a lot of you guys get the chance to hit or play one, after the little honeymoon period you'll think they're shorter than you're 910's. I've been fortunate enough to play a few rounds with a D3 8.5 with the Diamana S+, matrix HD6, Oban Devotion & Miyazaki Kusala Black & I think the 913 is noticeably shorter for me compared to my 910 D3 8.5. There's no denying they are an incredible looking stick though.

I am sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree. The 913 when properly fit is longer (not much, but certainly not "noticeably" shorter). Perhaps you should be refit for a new shaft.

I tried the shafts I mentioned in my 910 then switched them into my 913, no doubt about it, the 913 isn't as long as shots fom the middle. I know places on my home course that i can get balls to with the 910, I'd put good swings on the 913 with the different shafts & a lot of the time couldn't get to those certain places. Heel & toe shots were better with 913 though. Like I said its only my opinion but the face almost feels too soft.

This is exactly why most of the tour pros have not switched to the 913. A few have painted new graphics on their 910s and 909s but they have not switched in mass numbers because the 913 is WAY shorter. There are even a few non-Titleist staff players that have switched to the 910 with painted on 913 graphics a la Chucky 3 sticks.

Painted graphics? This isn't a shaft. So, you are saying they remilled the entire sole to mimic the 913? Not to mention the new backweight size/shape/position.

Dufner is still using his 910, he was hitting it solid last week at Perth international. He hit it on first practice day then changed back to 910 from there on same ahina shaft with z grip.

I can't testify to length of the tee but I can say that each tour head on offer last week on the range was snapped up by players and were gamed.

So my retailer got the 913 (demos) in today. They are really nice. Everything I loved about the look of the 910 series but with more performance. And it was noticeable. One of the guys that works there was hitting the 913D3 8.5 with D+ (think ahina) but couldn't get his spin above 1700 without hitting a big ol' fade. And he is a + capper who hits it hard.

My spin with this combo was right around 2050 with a draw and 2600 with an equal cut.

One cool thing nobody has mentioned is the new paint. They've gone to a grayer crown paint. It really nice. A nod back to the 905 series but not THAT light.

I also posted a closeup of the new matte finish on the D+ shaft because a lot of folks haven't seen it.

[/quote]Whats interesting is the Ahina 70 was moved way up on the Titleist shaft chart this year....and the D+ series is where the ahina was last year. How can a shaft change that much in one year, I;m caling BS....t even has the ahina as higher launch than the kaili???wth

I'll say that I never played the Made For Ahina very well. I found it "odd". The new D+ feels wonderful. It might be the shaft id go with.

For anybody interested, the 913 is NOT slower out of the middle than the 910. I've fit multiple players on TrackMan and have hit 910 and 913 with the exact same shaft. Are there going to be players that get similar numbers with both drivers? Absolutely.

I certainly do not work out on tour but I would be shocked if Titleist ever painted one club to look like another club. Titleist does a very nice job at updating what their players are playing on their website. Someone keeps it VERY up to date and I check it every so often to see who all is switching and to what... A few weeks ago when Bill Haas was playing 913D3 with VC 7.2 TS they updated the site and last tournament he was back to 910D2 and they re-updated it back to 910D2. They have never pushed players into new product.

I actually think the 913 is a bit hotter across the entire face, not just on misses. I've had two fittings thus far where the player was coming from 910 to 913 and both improved their numbers... one with the exact same shaft which was a made for Titleist Kai'li 65X.

My Pro is on staff w/ Titleist and didn't seem too giddy about the new driver compared to his 910. I've got a D3 and D2 and both work great for me depending on what I want from my ball flight.

They obviously were not painted 907s. It is amazing what the Tour Van can do with a little paint, some fake weights, and a quick milling of the sole.

So, I actually really like my numbers with my TM R11S TP 65S Phenom but the feel (or lack of) and sound somewhat bug me. I've hit the 910 D3 8.5 w/ RIP 60S and it felt smoother but I was wondering why almost everyone prefers the D+ or S+ to the RIP? More specifically how does the S+ compare to the RIP in the 913? My SS average is 101mph, LA is about 15 degrees w/ 2300-2400rpm per my fitting from two weeks ago.
