Just got word on my custom order that I placed at my local GolfTown. They aren't expecting shipments to arrive until Nov 9th. I also spoke with Titleist and they had mentioned that I would receive it in 5 business days cause it's coming from California. The anticipation and wait is killing me!

My D3 7.5 White D+ 82g X Flex is supposed to ship Friday. I should see it around Weds or so I would imagine. Can;t wait. I am still shocked that I ended up with the D+ seeing how I used to hate the first White Board that came out. I played it for a couple of years because back then it was "low low" compared to everything else. I understand they have changed the WB quite a bit from the first model. This D+ didn't feel nearly as soft in the butt as my old WB. I was surprised how smooth it was.

So the first came and went without anybody reporting they recieved their 913... looks like next week it is. It would've been great if Titleist sent out the pre-orders early as a thank you to everybody, while still holding out retail release until the second week of November.

GolfTown had 913's for sale on the 31st of Oct. No "thank you" give, but rather a middle finger...

That's pretty much what I got when I showed up at my GolfTown and realized they were already selling them. Kinda pointless to preorder if your gonna get them after the fact.

The only reason to pre order is that you get the custom options, Surefit setting, shaft length, etc. If you want customized, than ordering it is the way to go.

Tour AD-DI was $278 when I ordered one for a 910 last year.

Hit the 913 for a bit today with a few different shafts. Ended up with a different shaft on my existing Razr Fit instead. Was getting pretty similar numbers from both (913 w/ blueboard vs Razr w/ Aldila RIP NV), but the new shaft was cheaper and I didn't have to wait for it:).

From what i have found it appears that cost is $200 extra and many shops will charge $300 extra for an exotic.

Oban Kiyoshi Black shaft was a $312.00 upcharge. (Not sure why the $12 extra bucks)

It seems like the price for upgrades went up quite a bit this year, Titleist used to have a big advantage with upgrade pricing. Now it appears more standard

I hit a demo today at golfsmith on the monitor. 8.5 degree D3 with stock Diamani D+ stiff shaft. With my last two drivers I always had more spin than I would like, around 3400-3900 rpm, with SS average of 105. I even tested the 910d3, and razr fit with various shafts over the last couple of months, and the numbers were pretty much the same. I hit 15-20 drives today, the highest spin rate was 2900, average around 2200-2400. I even had three below 2000 rpm, which I have never, ever done before on any monitor. The Diamani D+ was very smooth, and fit me just fine. Last professional driver fitting I had, the Projext X 6.0, and Kali 72s performed and felt the best, as I am not a heavy loader.
