Sometimes I would even have to tell the fitter that I actually hit it on the toe, as he thought they were solid the ball flew so similarly. Very forgiving head. I hit my 9015D a few times and found that I lost about 12 yards of carry compared to the 913.

I am going to order on for sure, but I want to make certain the D+ is the way I want to go. I didn't get to hit the DI shafts at all or the Tour Spec.

alright, so i need to make the jump - i dont think any fitting centers in NYC have this and prob wont until nov?

im currently gaming a 975D 7.5 with an x-100 shaft

what would you guys suggest would be a 913 comparable head/shaft combo?

There isn't an equiv because your shaft weighs so much. But I can guarantee you will pick up a ton of yardage (ONCE YOU SETTLE IN WITH THE 913). There isn't a soul alive who wouldn't hit the graphite further. I was pounding a old titleist 5w with an s300 steel shaft in it the other day and I was shocked how short it was dues to the mass of the shaft.

I'd start with the D+ shaft due to the tip rigidity. And your eye won't like the 913D2 after coming from the 975. Choose the 8.5 D3 to start off. I can't wait to hear about what you decide on and how your fitting went.

(PS all my local retail fitters have gotten the 913 stuff in by now, Oct 26. We're only 4 days from the official launch)

If you can make it up to Scarborough, Sleepy Hollow CC is one of five Titleist Regional Fitting Centers in the US. They have 913 fitting equipment, and aside from our Test Facilities in California and Massachusetts, they have the widest selection of heads and shafts available to try. Played my 913 D3 8.5 with Oban devotion 06 04 today, I'm absolutely convinced its way shorter than the 910's. A couple of mates that have 910's hit my stick today & are of the same opinion, they find it not as long the 910 head.

I had a fitting yesterday with a WRX'er that PM'ed me for a fitting. He was playing a 910D3 with a custom UST VTS SPX Black 7S and picked up 12-15 yards with a 913D3 with D+ 62 stiff.

Very impressive, I've heard the same thing from many who have already been fit. It sounds like the face is really hot, just make sure to get fit into the proper shaft for your game.

It is quite possible that you got 913 D3 head that came out less than "perfect" off the assembly line. Or a counterfeit.

I totally believe you Jado - But I did this side by side with a 910 and used the same shaft just swapping heads. The 913 is superior. Check your head out because that's very atypical from just about every report. Seriously sounds like something is "weird".

Titleist has done an amazing job with this driver. I was fitted for the 913D3 9.5* with the Aldila Rip 60 Alpha. I've gained an extra 10+ yards and more confidence.

coming a 910 D2, tried the 913 D-3 (7.5, D+ stiff) today at an outdoor fitting. 913 was definitely longer, as I pulled out the range finder many times to compare. But getting fit by a Titleist rep is the only way you can find the best combo.

Anyone that has played it - how does it compare to the 910 with spin? I was told today that it is supposed to be less spin than the 910. Wanna see if anyone can verify that from experience?

I also hit a 913 with a RIP 70 today and it was longer that the 910 with the same shaft and loft. 9 yards on average for carry.
