No, the Vr-S and Covert systems are completely different, they will not interchange.

I love people complaining about the looks. Nike has had very traditional drivers in the past few years, where were you then? VR tour and VR pro limited were great performers.

Both Dyson and Molinari F were using the Covert drivers. The colour looks great in the flesh. I think my Driver treat will be one of these, a 913, or the latest Cobra...

It does make me wonder if the tech is really that good or if Nike is pushing their tour guys hard to play this thing.

I know glover was hitting that squared tour for awhile when it was out of the lineup and we all know how Tiger switches every few years and hangs on to older drivers. He was hitting that SQ Tour forever. The dymo was short lived.

It will be interesting to see Tiger and whoever comes on board rock this right away.

What is the price difference between the two drivers? Is it still $100 like years before?

Still disappointed this head will not come in a glued version.

I suppose the inventory advantage is huge with the flex fit

nike may want the tour players to use that version so that golfers will buy the one that is best for the retailer?

The shape totally threw me. Don't really know what to think until I hear how it sounds. I think I read an article hear a while back that said something about the relationship between sound and feel(may have been about the sound of the ball). I'd have to expect that the shape will create a weird/new sound cutting through the air in the backswing like the first R7, and have a hard/muted sound at impact from the amount of mass so close to the sweet spot.

That makes two of us. I would sure hope Tiger shows some love to the new stuff. I know he is really particular about his clubs, but dang man show the company some love that has stuck by you through thick and thin and help them sell some clubs.

Stewart Cink's has the Mitsubishi KuroKage silver in play in his driver

Some guys aren't as quick to change and so they may not have tested it much
