I'm not a Nike hater but I'm shocked that even I am so stoked about Nike woods and maybe even the hybrid :) (I've already pre-ordered an MP-H4 2-iron!)

I've always been a believer in Nike's forged blades, they have all been great.

After the Nike VR LTD 4-piece forged driver, that I like to call "The Truth", I have become a fan and believer in some (not all) of Nike's offerings. The Covert is #1 on my hot list for sure - however, the new Callaway looks really solid too. 2013 could have me gaming brands I haven't used in years!

KG, throw a set of C-taper Stiff in them. You have the SS to handle them. Best irons shafts I have ever used; it keeps the spin down and launches on a boring trajectory and stops on a dime. Great for knockdown shots too!

Ive ordered them new with s300 so Im sure its not a problem.

OD I hit the CTapers - I hear all the great things about them but they dont feel right to me. Acutally nothing but S300s do it for me.

Im going to call Nike see if they would sponser a mid 30s married guy who struggles to break 80 now a days. I look great on the course though decked out in my TW Gear!!!

Asked him why the Performance model over the Tour. Said he needed more spin to get his ideal launch angle cuz he's been a low spin guy in the past. Using the MRC Kuro Kage silver shaft and loves it. Felt that it was a better fit for him then the Fujikura shaft that he's been using in his other Nike driver.

In fact. Stewart played with DL,III in the 1st & 2nd rounds and said he hit it by Davis quite a few times. Someone posted that Cink's driving distance stats at Disney showed he averaged 300 yds (his average for the year has been 289 yds with his older Nike driver). He feels that Nike has a winner and wouldn't be surprised if guys who don't have Nike equipment deals put the driver in play cuz it's that good.

Charles Howell, III asked me quite a few questions about the Covert driver at Disney and said he liked the Red color. He was checking Stewart's Covert driver out when both of their golf bags were next to each other on the putting green. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Charles didn't have one in the bag at some point next year.

There are photos in the Disney albums that will support Cink hitting the driver from on the range to on the course, as well as close ups of the head.

There are quite a few Good golfers and club hos in the thread really wanted to try / hit / purchase this Driver.

I hope it doesn't disappoint !

Im not a Nike fan boy but did enjoy quite a few of the past clubs - Can't wait for 2013 to come around!!
