The putter looked like a modified black tour with the high toe...definitely no insert or weight screws like the Japanese version.
I would guess that Rocketballz Frankenwood is between 11 and 12 degrees, even if it says 15 on the club. He hit that way too far for a 15.

Maybe it was just the timing i saw it but seems Phil's need to announce his incredible love for this new driver came just after more pics of the stealth 3 wood circulated. I guess if the driver is so good he will be trying the fairway woods this week.
But i don't care what he uses, he is one of the best to watch and a lot could learn from him.

It is interesting if you go to PGA Tour.com they have him playing Project X 7.0, when you can clearly see that he was playing KBS. He did have the XHOT fairway in play the first 2 rounds, definitely saw the lighter gray crown with black face but I guess he pulled it mid tournament.

Am I being too cynical? Is Phil's over the top, free infomercial's for the Razrfit driver a "make-good" to Callaway for being caught with the Taylormade 3 wood in his bag for the last 2 months? Don't get me wrong, I am sure he does like the driver, but from what I hear and see, Mickelson is a savvy, calculating guy who would certainly not fawn like this without being aware of the implications!!!

I watched pretty close, and I think he played the whole weekend with the RBZ. In my mind it's really not that big of deal, as it is only one out of 14 clubs. He was doing a great amount of promoting on the Extreme though. I think it finally took hold what Butch had been trying to get him to do for a while as the higher loft allowed not to have to hang as far back as swing up to hit the ball. At least it seemed that might be the case.
