It looks pretty upright to me when he's putting. He definitely used to have a putter with a much flatter lie in the past. I have a Protype 82 which is supposed to be built in his specs from around 2010 and it's pretty flat.
Maybe that's part of his newfound putting "secret"? Another thing observation: His current putter has way more offset than the retail version. He used to put with a 1/2 shaft offset, but his current putter has at least 3/4 shaft offset.

Ok so he is using the 3 Deep and not the Phrankenwood correct? I thought it was the 3 Deep but I keep hearing people call it his Phrakenwood.

Both. The Phrankenwood is a driver, the 3deep is his fairway wood. He has both in the bag just like most people have a driver then 3 wood.

People (commentators) heard that word when he was using the hacked up RBZ and then thought that the 3deep he was playing was the phrankenwood, then the actually made the 8.5 proto for him with the phrankenwood name, and now they all are clueless.

I laughed when Vince cellIni (however you spell it) interviewed him at the PGA and said something about the phrankenwood and phill had to correct him. "I'm actually playing an off the shelf strong lofted 3 wood." or something like that. Someone from golfwrx needs to handle these people when it comes to talking equipment. Most of them are clueless or at least sound like it.

Maybe Callaway will respond to Phil keeping the PING Anser hybrid in his bag by releasing a hybrid that doesn't look absolutely awful like the rest of their hybrids.

That's definitely a ping eye 2. I believe he played that same wedge a long time ago with the old grooves.

I think the Apex Pros are probably great clubs, but I don't see that lasting very long. He's very finicky with his iron shafts and always touts his iron play as the strength of his game, so I'm not sure why he would be switching - he hits his irons almost too far already. The V1 might work with that head as it might spin less than the Razr MBs or the X-Forged irons.

He mentioned in one of the Asian tournaments how terrible he is swinging, so I would guess he plays the Apex Pros until he feels more comfortable and then goes back to one of his old sets. I could be wrong, but that move doesn't make that much sense to me in the long run - and I usually defend Phil's crazy equipment choices.

Definitely a KK black paint scheme on that driver shaft, interested to find out the specs of this setup.

Seems to me if one of the greatest players ever says it's the best driver he has ever hit, you would want to have the specs out there and available for rush delivery
