KBS Tour V2 Shafts

I have heard rumors of KBS actually releasing the V2 or Version 2 of the KBS Tour shaft? This is the same shaft Phil Mickelson is playing. Does anyone have any info?

I tried what was presented to me as a new proto KBS tour shaft, if its the same things it awesome just a little lower spin and launch that is between KBS Tour and DG, not as smooth as the KBS Tour

That was my opinion, personally I'm keeping my KBS Tour S+ bc I spent alot of money getting them frequency matched and they feel better than the new ones

I am very interested to see if they are going to launch these shafts. They talk about them on their website and hope they are going to launch them soon. Please keep me posted if you hear anything!

Ill be playing them in a set of Tour Rocketbladez tomorrow for the first time. What I was told is PM wanted a KBS shaft with flight of C taper and feel of stepped kb tour, thus the v2. They are almost same identical step pattern as my kbs tour shafts but noticeably fatter in thickness/diameter.

Exactly. Same setup I have and they are fantastic. Had them in my MC's and Miura's as well. Really hope they make these available to everyone.

I'm pretty sure it is just a standard KBS Tour with a thicker mid section to help reduce spin. Philly Mick's are tipped 1" and he still plays the sandard KBS Tour in the 4-5 irons.

Shafts are very responsive and a mix between the c tapers & KB's. Smooth tight kicking w/ mid trajectory w rbladez and pretty low spin. Can hit both ways and high faily effortlessly. The R Bladez however are not cutting it for me, and will be in the classifieds next week-

There is an extra step towards the butt, that is covered by the grip

I removed a grip to show the extra step. These were played in a set of 712mbs at s+, d4, +1/2. I perfer the s400 tours over these (for me lower ball flight). I do not have the other stepped kbs to do a side by side pick. Put this pic shows the step I was mentioning above. These were off a van and I assume if they are released will be the same.
