If you wouldn't mind whenever you do talk to him maybe I could get some info about having it repainted, or even if he can just repair the one skyball mark that is the worst with the same black (not sure how doable that really is though). I'm all in for the 19th, assuming the weather stays on the upward trend it's been on. I have the day off already, so I'll be playing (weather permitting) regardless that day.

As will I but I haven't seen any talk lately about it so I don't know if people still plan on playing or not. I also have the friday before (18th) off in which I'll try to get a round in at Windmill Lakes if anyone wants to play. I have a couple free rounds I need to use up before June from there holiday open house and it can only be used Mon-Fri.

Just found this thread. I live about 10 mins from downtown Cleveland. I have been playing area courses for about 20 years but would love to meet some WRX'ers as I have been a long time member but never actually met very many in person. I have to admit I have not read all 15 pages of this thread, but it has been a long winter and I am just starting to shake the rust off. I am training for my first marathon in May, so I have limited free time to play until then, but after May 18th I would love to get back out there if you guys are organizing some get-togethers.

Still have that AD DI... Just got it back from a buddy actually!

Also about the 19th, I'm sorta conditional based on injuries. Hate to be that guy, but I have played 7 holes now in 2 separate outings this year, so not sure if I'll be good to go or not...

Ahhh yes. I am glad it is in good hands! Couldnt hit that thing worth a lick. Anyways, I am not there this time around because Saturdays are my long run days, but I will keep checking this thread to see if/when anyone is going out and will try to make it when I can.

Finally made it out onto real grass today. Went to Chippewa in Doylestown and played for $10 ( walking only) because course is obviously pretty wet with all of the rain last night and earlier today. It was good to knock off some cobwebs and verify a few things.

Equipment changes ( I dont change often) went over well and I have nothing to complain about.

I should never hit off of mats again in my life. Hate them with a passion and what little time I spent on them in the past two weeks was not productive. In fact it was probably counterproductive. Mats, you suck.

To my driver, dont worry baby I still love you and I will replace your shaft that I screwed up last year ASAP. You surprised me today and Ill give complete credit to the arrow if it makes you feel better.

It pays to return to things that helped you have success on the course which is why I always tell people to take notes. It wasnt notes that helped me feel like I hadnt taken the last 5 months off but it was something good from my past.

To my new irons. You were awesome. I was a little nervous given the conditions and your design but to say I was impressed would be an understatement. Again for today only I will give credit to the arrow.

I appologize to anyone who I may have jinxed with my cursing of their short putts but I claim temporary insanity and will sacrifice a new Pro v-1 to the Monster in the Lake to calm down the golf gods.

You're cursing the putter Wednesday made me lip out two putts within 8 ft. and made another hit the back of the cup and pop out as well! Not sure if I should blame you or the new putter?



Also, I have a 4 x 4 hitting mat that I don't really need sitting in my garage so if anyone on here would like it let me know. It's a little beat up but still playable, but it doesn't have a rubber tee. I can post pictures for anyone interested.
Whoever will use it is can have it for free (or buy me a beer or sleeve of z-stars if you're feeling generous!). I'm located in Ravenna.

I believe so. I don't think the weather will be too bad. 50s and a slight chance of rain. Plus its supposed to be nice the next few days so it should dry stuff up a little. Sounds like pretty good golf weather to me.
