I am going to test the new regular Apex irons in December. Definitely like the approach Callaway has to these irons. I am presently playing the X Hot Pro irons. These should be a step up.

I like em. I am on the fence about the apex name though...its like they are just using it as a marketing tool and not really reviving the spirit of the original apex irons. Kind of like when Pontiac revived the GTO....what a disaster. I play the x forged 2013s and had the 09's and 07's before that....I wonder if they will even build an update next year to the x forged....or if this is it.

Like: Both sets look amazing. Apex pro looks very "player-like"
Dislike: Tour V only 110g? Also, I am always somewhat skeptical about the tungsten. Think it affects feel adversely.

That being said, I will definitely be trying the Pros.

Great looking set. probably too much club for me, but love the satin look compared to the 2013 xforged. Hearing really good things so far from people that have hit them. Taking the 455 steel from the x hot woods (LOVE my xhot 3w) and putting that tech into the iron faces is pretty incredible sounding.
