I have some mpow Magnetos on the way. For $30 it's a pretty cool concept for some earbuds so I hope they work out. They have really good reviews. I considered the soundpeats someone mentioned before due to the great reviews and price, and I may still get them but I want to try these first.

I had a pair of the Beats Powerbeats2 and they are great, I wish the bluetooth range was a little better but I've used them for 2 seasons now and they are a great set. Will definitely keep using them.

But I bought a pair off Amazon to use on my spin bike that I think are definitely worth taking a look at. They were $19 when I bought them but are up to $29. Really lightweight, you cant even tell you are wearing them.

Bought the Jaybird x3 when on sale at Best Buy last week for $99. I have been using the original bluebird x for the last few years. The x3 are a big improvement. Smaller than previous models. 8hr battery life. Sound better and have a customizable app that can change the sound sig to your specifics. That is huge for me. It works great. Love them, especially for $99

I wear them over the ear and cause no issues. They come with these clips that can be used to make a tight fit around the back of the head. You can also wear them with the cord hanging down. I don't like them that way

Anyone have any other thoughts? Between the x3s and the powerbeats 3. Anyone have experience with these new beats? They look like they wouldn't move one bit when you swing

I have the powerbeats wireless 2. I just saw the 3s were out. From I can tell the only difference between them is the battery life, and connectivity is easier. The 3s have the new chip that the new Apple wireless headphones will have.

As far as how they work. The 2s I use are perfect for practicing. They never move or get in the way. They have never fallen out during swinging. Bought them specifically for golfing/practicing. Battery life in the 2s is just fine.

As a disclosure. The 2s are notorious for connectivity issues. I've had 2 pairs replaced by Apple/ beats and they have all cut in and out. No clue why,but only does it at course. I wear them at work and they never cut out. That's were I'd give a look at the new 3s. Hopefully they fixed the issues all together. First it was audio lag from videos when the 2s came out and now the cutting in and out. Annoying, but not to bothersome to buy a new set.

^I'll echo what dlamb said. I have the powerbeats 2 wireless. I'd say save your money and go with those unless you have the iPhone 7. Despite how much people hate beats I actually like them. I have the powerbeats which I use for anything active and the original pros. If they were overpriced now I can just assume it's even worse now that apple owns them.

I have not had connectivity issues with mine except when riding my bike. Otherwise for golf, gym, school they've always been excellent.

Wife had to go to Jaybird after three pairs of the powerbeats 2 crapped out on her as well. She uses them for running and likes them. For Golf and fitness I am using the Bose Soundsport wireless which have been great for me. https://www.bose.com/en_us/products/headphones/earphones/soundsport-wireless.html#v=soundsport_wireless_citron

Good to hear. I'm leaning towards the powerbeats 3 mainly because of the ear hooks

The powetbeats 2 have the ear hooks too. Save the money. Unless you want 12 hour use time instead of 5.

I've also got the jaybirds and love them. I use them all the time while practicing and they never move or wiggle out of my ears while swinging.

Interesting that this thread is still rolling. I got the Jaybird Bluebuds X for my birthday 3 years ago. I've worn them running and to the gym since; very regularly, these things are in use 3 days a week. 2 weeks ago they went through the wash as I didn't take them out of my gym shorts pocket... I figured, well, better do some research on what to buy now. My wife let them dry on a towel, plugged them in a few hours later, and wouldn't you know it they work fine.

Can't recommend them highly enough. What other wireless earbuds do you know that would survive the washing machine??

I need a set of wireless earbuds with the best bass sound possible. Money is no object. Well, I will probably say anything $3,000 and below that is the best bass sound possible.

I would recommend the jaybird freedoms. I have the JF3s and I believe there is a newer version out now. They are bluetooth, sweat resistant, and have a flexible cord in between the ear buds instead of the hard plastic like most sport headphones. They also come with rubber pieces on the bud that sit in the crease of your ear so they won't fall out while you are exercising.

Jaybirds great!!!! Also, if you're on a budget, go on Amazon and try the SoundPEATS Wireless Earbuds In-Ear Stereo Bluetooth Headphones with Mic for Sports Running--$22.99. It's great not having the cord running out of your pocket..or the earbuds fall out when you swing.

Klipsch R6i. $71 on Amazon Prime. They're perfect. Perfect cord length, cord is thick so doesn't get tangled, sounds good, fits right, built in controls for your iphone, price is right.

Just bought the 3's. I'll admit that its not exactly a value purchase but so far have worked very well. I had a couple gift cards to off set the cost on these. I bought the black/green combo and may exchange for the all black but regardless seem like awesome wireless buds for range/gym.

Since starting this thread I’ve tried a bunch of mostly inexpensive type of buds. Yurbuds didn’t last long. Some JBL’s allowed too much sound in st the gym. These Jaybird Freedom 5 are the best sounding, best fitting I’ve tried to date. I think they are a keeper.

I’m still happy with my Zipbud Slides for when a cord isn’t an issue but the Jaybird will be the go to.
