It's actually weird at this point, like I know he's sitting on probably 30-35 million if he was smart about it (if he wasn't it's dwindling) when you combine his career earnings and the $25 million insurance policy (this is considering that he paid taxes on it and he's been spending some of it, and assumes it's invested well). But after a while don't you have to find something to do with your life? Get involved with business or charity, go back to school to become something or other, just to give you something to do with yourself. I think if he was doing something like that we would have heard about it, as it is whenever he pops up it's just like he's been hanging out, doing whatever.

I'd be really bored if I was him.

He still plays golf a little bit just cant play tournaments. He said he considered coming back on tour but he have to 100% healthy

He got 6 surgeries since leaving the tour. I think many are underestimating the physical/mental toll that can take on anyone. He goes to physio daily and tries to manage his pain. I think he's made the right call to hang it up for now because he likely wouldn't be competitive or risk further injury. His lifestyle was his own, never understood why he got crucified for it (tons of guys on tour have a 'good time').

Main point: He's gotten serious injuries, then surgeries and is likely living in chronic pain. He keeps to himself and we almost never hear from him. Most should have nothing negative/slander to say about him at this point.

Phenomenal talent, wish his golf career had continued a lot longer.

You can get an Achilles repair but you're never the same after. He also got a spinal fusion, labral repair and rotator cuff repair. Wrist was mentioned.

I also think his partying ways are blown way out of proportion and are based more on hear say than factual info.

speaking as someone who has had 3 back surgeries and another on the way in July I don't care who the person is. I wish it on NO PERSON. I have 3 torn discs and 5 herniated. I raced bicycles (aggressively I might add) and Ironmans for 10 years. I have been hit by a car 5 times and there are days that life just down right SUCKS. His injures were worse than mine. A spinal fusion is nothing to joke about and a labrum tear is insanely tough to rehab from. Bobby Gates is a friend of mine and he tore his hip labrum and he was off the tour for almost 2 years getting back to 100%. All of the injuries he has had compounded on top of each other is just a load most people can't fathom. Mentally it will wear you down even more than physically. My Dad and I were just talking about AK yesterday as he was one of the few players that choked down on his clubs no matter the length and my Pops has started doing it and gaining crazy good control. AK was pimpin' before pimpin' was pimpin'. Dude had serious swagger and wish he was still out there. Hope he is at peace.

It's amazing how things get twisted in the retelling. But that's OK, I'll let that one slide as not to embarrass AK.

It's hard to play straight games with him because inevitably I pull up that robert allenby rash face pic and i start thrashing the the whole "i was drugged and robbed and kidnapped!" fantasy he tried selling and Anthony can barely stop laughing long enough to hit a shot.
