Are people really using .580 and ..600 grips interchangeably without building up the .600 grips?

I add one layer of build up tape.

Maybe it due to the taper but these .600 felt as large as my .580.

Any updates to your opinions on the grips? Basically the BCT cord of the Lamkin line with an option for less taper?

    I ordered a full set

Grip itself Feels bigger than even a .580 lamkin full cord which I know makes no sense , more cord than the bct , issue I had with those that they became relatively slick after not many uses

Awesome, I was worried it would feel thin. Great news!

I think he meant the bct went slick. I had similar experience with the golf pride bct and tv.

I've tried both the standard and standard plus now. Overall they are a bit softer than the GP tour velvet Cord BCT, more cord in the grip,

They are definitely bigger outside diameter wise. I built them up the same way I do my GPTVC and then hit them with a caliper, both the standard and standard plus 2 inches down from the cap were 1.06 where the GPTVC was at a 0.99, they feel good, the standard plus feels a little smaller in the lower hand than the MCC+4 but not by much.

Although like the MCC+4 I just felt personally the lower hand was to big. So I will be playing the Standard version till after the PGA Merchandise store when I will try out the Stech cord that will be released.

I just put some of the standard+ (with an extra wrap of painters tape) on my driver and fairways and WOW so long Golf Pride Tour Velvet BCT.

I cut off stock 3 year old factory Srixon and put these on. The beauty of the + design, no bottom hand tape necessary.

I have used Crossline Cord for years, these grips are slightly softer and with a less aggressive cord profile.

Good feedback, will do my other set when they need refreshing with these.

I bought a haul of these. Hold up great. Great feel and feel even better with a little sand paper treatment to rough up / stand up the cord more ( just a personal preference) I hope lamkin keeps these for a long time. Other than Crossline cords, bct cords or the original tour black these are the bees knees

I just bought a set of these and can't say enough great things about the standard plus model. They feel amazing and don't tear my hands to shreds. In addition, I love the ribbed option that is there. The line on top of the grip also helps to ensure that they are installed perfectly as well. It is a great concept and I am loving them so far.

I was looking at these today. The store only had the standard version and it was not installed, but looked really thick for a 0.60

Interesting what you say and I'd like to hear from others if they find this grip to come up thicker once installed than normal. We all know the Z cord plays small, so wondering if this is the opposite?

probably have to watch out building up too much, the cord might start splitting. Im with you, I want midsize as well.

I'm dying for midsize as well. Golf Pride won't make the BCT in midsize so I'm hoping Lamkin comes through with this in midsize+.

Wonder if the lack of midsize has to do with material or weight or some combination. Doesn’t make sense otherwise.

I have three wraps of double sided tape under mine and they are the standard plus. They feel just a bit smaller than midsize which is perfect for me. However, the grips were a bit thicker than I thought they would be when I installed them on my project x shafts.

I ordered one of the standard and one of the standard plus to try out. They are both .60. So is it the consensus that 3 wraps for the standard plus is midsize? Just holding the grip it seems like that would make the bottom hand really big.
