New 19* hybrid

What should I be trying?

I can’t get rid of my Ping G400 hybrid. I’ve hit Titleist, Callaway and TM’s before this one, and in my experience, they weren’t even close to the G400.

Depends on what you are looking for in hybrid. Low or high launch? Distance control or hot clear out club? Tee shots for tight fairways?

What is your HDCP or normal score?

I normally shoot between 75-80. I am looking for a control club that has enough pep to reach long par 5s in two, or can be used off the tee on tighter holes. Driver swing speed is 120-125.

Never gotten along with hybrids until the ts2

i'm looking to forward to hitting a couple hybrids this year since a lot of reviews are saying they're anti-left now. They've always hooked left for me. Looking forward to cally super hybrid and sim.

This is just me but I think the ts2/818 are the best hybrids. Sleek, still fast, nice address looks, good control. If you just want a bomber... Sim max.

I already have a TS3 driver and TS2 3 wood, so this seems like the logical choice, but I am not brand loyal, so I just want a performer. I am sure these perform...I just have't hit them yet. I will go hit some today.

They do. I get 1.45 smash from my 818 4h which is insane for a club with 23* of loft. Sim is even more efficient, but I just found it spins very low. I like the powerful feel of sim but for a 22* club I want a little more spin and front to back predictably. G410 is very good but I've just never liked ping, except the wedges.

You are a candidate for the CBX and CBX.119 hybrids from the Tour Edge Exotics. The TE reps tout the CBX hybrids as left-proof, and feedback from amateurs has been positive.

With your high clubhead speed, your decision of CBX vs. follow-on CBX.119 would probably be based on shaft choices. EvenFlow Blue and HZRDUS Black come as stock shafts.

G410 is a nice hybrid

So far I am liking the TS2, but I do want to hit the new Mizuno CLK.

I was playing Titleist 818h2 with ADDI 95S for a while and its a great hybrid. Its got a great small profile and its adjustable. I was tempted to try the G410 hybrid as I've always like ping hybrids in the past. I was searching ebay and found a Ping Anser 20* with ADDI95X for $100 shipped. There is a reason Kucher has played this hybrid for so long. Its amazing long and workable. The 818H2 is firmly in the backup bag.

I am thinking of going with the tour ad di shaft, but not sure of weight. Any suggestions?

Second the 818/TS2. There just isn't a better hybrid out there IMO. That said I just grabbed a Srixon u85 21* to mess with and thing feels really good..

I was thinking of going AD DI 95x, but I may have to give the 105x a whirl.

whats your current bag set-up/gapping out of curiosity?

I second Mizuno CLK. It just works. Haven't tried the others. Came from Ping i20 and Ping Crossover. Never thought I could hit it any better.

I recently tested a bunch, Sim Max if you want to hit it far, TS2 and ping G410 for more overall performance. I have a G410 on the way, but if I didn't find a good deal here on the BST it was a coin flip between the two for me.

For the people who are suggesting the Mizuno CLK 20, have you hit the Titleist offerings? If so, what is the comparison on sound and feel?

I am looking for a 250 carry club.
