Best par 3 ever played?

that hole looks a lot better with the flood . . lol

Number 7 at Pebble Beach. That's one awesome little par 3. I have a few others I really like, but that one is always first on my list of par 3's I've played.

It's not the BEST par 3 I've ever played. But it is one of the most enjoyable and one of the few I have pic's of. The drop is about 100 feet, the ball seems to stay in the air forever. The course is Wolf Laurel Country Club in Mars Hill, NC.

Hard to top PB #7. Great picture, did you take that or get it from somewhere else?

10th hole at the Sedona Golf Resort

Got the PB #7 pic off the web. It looked better than any of my pics.

I've always loved a short but challenging flick of a hole. Few are better than the Postage Stamp 8th at Royal Troon. The 11th on Turnberry's Ailsa Course is another fantastic par 3 even if the attached photos are in the wrong order.

I think the 13th at Muirfield is one of the best par 3s on the planet, but I haven't been lucky enough to play there yet.

Pacific Dunes #10 206 yds from the back tees.

Sorry no pictures but there was a par 3 that was pretty much straight downhill at Stonehouse that I thought was pretty sweet. Also the 17th at Bethpage is a tester also.

St. Cloud Country Club (Minnesota) #3 - 174 yds.

I will go with #15 at Lakeridge in Reno....a 239 yard knee knocker (note the house below the back tees):

Yep...it's a 145 yard elevation change from tee to green. Felt like I needed to hit 3 wood, and I believe I hit 6 iron to the back left bunker.

Big 6-bat that is !! That really is a fantastic looking golf hole.Is that your home course ?

Bet you feel like you need a tin hat on when your teeing off on that hole to the right too,with the incoming fire.

I've only played it once, several years ago. I still remember it well though...it immediately came to mind when I saw this topic!

The 224 yard 16th at Vale De Lobo in Portugal which i was lucky enough to play as a lad.Best not to go left like my dad did.Also best not to sun-bathe on the beach if my dads name is on the days start sheet :lol:

The Dell at Lahinch.

In the photo, you will see the green tucked behind a bunch of mounds. The tee box is out of the picture to the right. To hit the green, you aim over the mound (they place rock on top to guide your aim) and fire blind at the green. I nearly got my first (and only :-( ) hole in one there.

The Dell is another one of my favorites. I made a hole in one there a couple years ago when visiting a friend that lives in Lahinch. Forgetting the hole in one it is just a very unique fantastic hole. I loves watching my friend and his dad who had played countless rounds there use the edges of the dunes on chip shots to get the ball closer to the hole when they missed the green. I couldnt help but admire the imagination that they used instead of just pulling out their 60* wedge like most americans would do.

#7, #15 or #16 at Cypress Point Club.
The 4 par 3's at Cypress may be the greatest collection
of 3 pars at any location on earth #3 is often forgotten
but its still a great hole but when compared to the other
three it is a tough sell.
I feel that Dr. Mackenzie crafted some of the world's
greatest par 3's. That little one in Georgia @ #12 isn't
too shabby either or the finishing hole @ Pasatiempo.
Just a point to ponder?

The third hole at Ventana Canyon on the Mountain course in Tucson is a little over 100 yards but, not much room to miss.

Number 17 at TPC Sawgrass isn't the best par 3 by any means but is sure is fun to play.[attachment=515044:DSC00434.JPG]

That hole is as spectacular as Elin in a bikini.

16th at Cypress Point Club especially since it is proceded by the 15th

#2 at Linacy Greens. It's a local course, nothing special, but its a good quality course for the price.
