Dude looked like an overweight midget version Tiger impersonator. We assumed maybe he was a dealer and his caddy a customer, Tbey played through. Never seen anything like that in 30 years of golf.

If he's having a good day, he tends to talk nonstop. If he has a bad game, he becomes silent.

 

He'll start to talk when it's his turn to tee up, that way he has everyone's attention..

He will start talking, when it's his turn to putt..

He drives the golf cart in half speed, so that he can talk..

Brings to memory of an older guy and young guy my wife and I always used to see on a public course we were members of and it was a little crowded so we asked if they wanted to join us. We knew they drank beer, but didn't realize how much. We were more amazed at watching them drink 1 can/hole (each) more than we were watching their golf shots (actually, the older guy was pretty good and had me wondering how many beers would he need to drink before I bested him on a hole). After the front 9, they went to fill up again, and sure enough guzzled 1 can/hole on the back as well. I thought, dam, in the sun I'm toasted if I had 3 beers and I said something to my wife like, I think I should suggest they not drive if they intend to drive home?.... but they decided to play another 9. Amazing, my wife started referring to the older guy as 'happy Jack' and they did this all the time.

They were cleaning out her grandmother’s house and her dad (81 years old) was trying to lift soemthing heavy. She called for my help to try and stop him. So I went flying across town, moved the item, and went flying back. So instead of a nice leisurely warmup it was run to the tee cold. Not a good way to start.

I have to admit I’ve become spoiled by our home course, the first tee is maybe 30 yards from the range.

 

At our hold course (didn’t even have a range at first) we’d just jump to the tee right from the parking lot. That jut doesn’t work very well anymore, that first swing is painful!(and usually pretty ugly too).
