He was playing a one-off set that were tweaked to have the CG more like his old RSi TP, but these look to be a different set without the tweaks. Hmmm

Those X7's shafts will help him flight it down. Not many people would get away with using them.

Yeah they do but to me they feel much smoother than X100's. A touch heavier and do feel stiffer but they're smoother for some reason. Feel like more people could use them if they can handle the weight but are afraid to try out.

I agree. The feel was great. The butt section is gigantic but I found them to less harsh than the OG PX back during the day when the X7’s first came out.

OK I really meant its on DJ's Twitter feed. I'm sure some players are active but he doesn't strike me as the Twitter type.

Does anybody know what version of kuro kage he’s playing? Is it the tour only version dual core xt? Supposedly the newer xd version is supposed to be similar profile to this?

JD has super strong lofts to help keep the ball down.

Think injuries have been the bigger problem for him rather than anything to do with a caddy. But yeah he was fun to watch when he was good.

Agreed. Injuries a big part. Always has had them. But when you have one person who is you father figure, mentor, coach and caddie your whole life/career basically. Then you rise to the top of the world and flat out dominate for a year. Seems like an odd next step , to take him off your bag.

 

But all speculation. I’m a big fan. Both on the course and his love of family.
