Irons are z945's. Asked a dunlop rep today here in japan －they'll be released here in may － not next month. My mistake.

Matsuyama was playing the z925's until recently. They were released in 2012

Maybe the lead tape is a visual comfort thing? That would be interesting. His woods are pretty random. Must be very particular about feel and ball flight.

I've seen the lead tape on hosels and also once on the shaft at where the grips end here in Asia. Very rare but do see them, all of been clubs belonging to pros with a lot of wrist action.

Currently the Tour AD DI8-TX and Tour AD DI9-TX are tour only shafts.
