Let's have some fun with this thread, guys. I'll start with this one, and I want everyone to contribute.

 

You know you are playing the local muni when you find signs like these in the men's restroom.

Guy shows up in cut up camo shorts and a cut-off t-shirt he wore when he changed the oil in his truck. I play with a few of these guys and they are the ones that will have your back in a seconds notice but at least wear something decent. These are also the guys/gals that are the most fun to play with

That sign is crazy, but that wear spot on the stall wall is weird. Who is reaching under there like that enough to create that much wear?

Guy in stall to guy at urinal: "Just dropped a deuce. Fives?"

When you see more golfers wearing work boots than golf shoes.

When you hear golfers exclaiming 'Yeah!!' when they slice one off the planet but it lands on a neighboring fairway.

When the fairways are made chiefly of dandelion and clover.

When you get paired with someone and you quickly find out that there is literally no safe place to stand when he is hitting.

Christ, in Maryland the going rate on Saturday mornings [i]starts[/i] at $60. And that's for a packed course. If you can get a tee time.

Guess it doesn't matter. I'm in the bunker. Hit a bad shot to get there, probably just going to hosel rocket this one six fairways over anyway.

You are afraid to hit your ball in the rough because you know a big dog lives at the house you are close to and you aren't sure where he is or whether the little chain he is on is strong enough to hold him back.

Shortly into the summer season there is at least one green that has tire tracks on it from something larger than a golf cart.

I am trying to craft something along the lines of how there is a hollow of trees used so often as a rest room, there is an attendant who greets you and todays NY Post available but haven't figured out how to best describe it.
