Which tour is more competitive between the Asian Tour and the Latin American PGA Tour?

You've been at this awhile eh? Well the Asian Tour is the top tier tour that features a handful of PGA Tour players on their order of merit which a Google search revealed in ten seconds. They co-sanction the Hong Kong Open which was won by some guy named Miguel Angel Jiménez the past couple of years. Some guy named McIlroy won it before him. The PGA Tour LA is a developmental feeder tour for the Web.com full of mainly former D1 college players and mini tour guys. Neither have players who have never kept a real handicap on their 6,000 yard home course or played any major amateur tournaments.

I've suggested men that you might contact that have played events on all of these tours. Before I dropped the coin on traveling half way around the world to prove my game, I would enter all of the Pro/Ooen events that I could to season myself and see how my game stacks up against the best local and state wide Pros.

You can even enter the open events as an Am, and if Ya have a successful track record you'll get some invites into a few Pro events, depending on the sponsor.

I had a good Friend and former business partner who played the South American Tour and he spent a season on the Asian, basically qualifying for events. He actually did ok on the South American Tour, ending up just inside the top-20, like 17-18th, though he didn't come close to makin money and in fact lost just over $30k for the year, though he met a beautiful Woman at an event, married her, so he indeed did have his biggest victory down there :)

The Best To Ya :)

Wait, I'm confused, I thought the OP was ready to take on the PGA Tour?

I really hope Big Break contacts this guy. It'd be fun to watch another Anthony in the next Big Break too.

Thanks for the reply, and your replies to my other threads/questions.

It appears as though I'm being forced to take my leave from the Golf WRX forum, I received a warning and appears this community doesn't like me very much. To everyone else in addition to Forged4ever and drewtaylor21 who took time out of their schedules to answer my questions and give me advice, I truly appreciate it as well. As far as the times I posts, for the time being I do have a normal day job, which makes my only times to practice in the morning and after work, which means evenings are the only time I can have leisure and talk to you fine people.

I may play an amateur tournament, if I do and I shoot 65, 65, 64, 67 I'm going to be pissed, because that could have been a win on tour, a 2 year exemption, and made me about a million dollars richer :)

Anywho, thanks again to everyone who gave me invaluable and useful information, and I wish everyone the very best in life and in this game, hopefully I'll see all of you at the top if that's what your dreams are, take care.

Ahhh what a guy. He left us one last gem to remember him by! Wouldn't expect anything less.

And Jones, I'm not sure why I keep responding to your posts....maybe because about 5% of me still thinks you may be for real.....regardless, I hope you go play many amateur events and learn as much as you can from them. I'm quite sure you won't regret it. Good luck dude!

I know what you mean. I've known people over the years who dream of success, but do not want to accept that it just takes focus, time, talent, and a bit of luck to be ready when the opportunity arrives. Instead they focus on how they are more talented and deserving than those who already made their mark and work a LOT harder looking to find the short cut to success than they ever would if they just did it! They won't accept that many people who have success (including financial success) normally do not do it for the money, but for the love of what they do, as you can go a lifetime and have no financial success. Personally I always thought that these people are just looking for a short-cut to financial success so that they do not have to work and really do not enjoy whatever it is they are shooting at next. They really believe the image presented by the media. Few people really just show up as the media spins it, no matter the current age, if you dig, you'll see lots of years of hard work and sacrifice.
Like Drew, a part of me wants to believe that you're for real. I am not speaking from the standpoint of your abilities, because many over estimate their abilies, and coupled with the bravado, confidence & security that a keyboard and screen can provide, well, I'll leave it at I'm ok with ya there. I just hope that you're a real person who can play a little bit. That would be good enough for me.

I don't understand why you you would be "forced" to leave, if you heeded the Mods warning(s), even if you were given a "time-out."

Regarding this community and "liking" you, if you can, in one of those quiet moments, look back, and if necessary, reread some of your threads and posts, and if you are able to put yourself in another's shoes, think how you might think, react and respond to some of your "brasher" comments. If you read my post about my fraternity Bro and how I looked at you, well, I liked him enough to risk some potentially pretty stiff consequences & outcomes to bail him and his mouth out of a few situations, lol. While it obviously would never come to that here, you have enough guys hangin around, in addition to the mods, well, if you just tone it down and maybe use the PM system for some of your questions instead of the board, well, you'd be fine :)

And Jonesy, if you are real, I would copy and keep BHS53's post above me. As Ben Franklin stated a while ago, most men die at the age of 26yo, they just don't get around to burrying them for another 40-50 years. And the majority of the rest, well, they fall into BHS's category. Then that leaves 2% or less.

They do it differently than the other 98%-

And it ain't about the talk Bro, it's the walk that people remember!

And don't be pissed Dude, just go to the next stop, plant the tee and do it again.

If I can ever be of any assistance, drop me a line-
