I finally got a chance to hit my new irons (J15CB) a little today. They feel awesome and the little bit of time I spent hitting them yielded promising results. Tough to get the best info off of a mat in the cold wind but I was happy. I can't wait to get them out on the course.

Those are sweet looking irons, would definitely be excited to play those.

Thanks guys -- they are definitely the prettiest irons I've ever had in the bag. Between these, the wedges, and the LST, I've never looked forward to a golf season quite as much as this one, and it's going to suck when I bring my same crappy swing with such beautiful clubs. Glad Sparty pulled it out today despite making it way too interesting, or I would have been a lot less enthusiastic about the color scheme of the irons and wedges. First round with everything is tomorrow!

A little late, but thoughts on the course aside, Belvedere is pretty freakin legendary and has a cool mystique about it so I like it on this list.

OW- watched Barry's swing get better in 15 mins and we both know how silky that was to start with.

It definitely looks like a cool tool, but I'm not sold that it'll translate into tremendous improvement. I don't think for most of us the problem is a lack of information or knowledge about what we're doing wrong (especially those of us who get regular instruction), but how do you fix it, and once that's identified, actually having the time to work on it.

Just quick post before throwing it on BST:

I'm selling my Ping G30 LS Tec 10.5º with 2015 Diamana D+ 60 stiff shaft. Shaft was installed by Ping Tour Department (long story). Club has never seen green grass, just Trackman... my mistake, I need a 9º head and different shaft (if G30 wins the current Driver Battle Royal).

There's not a ton of information available on the web, but from what I can gather, there's only maybe 15 places in the country that have it, and Boyne Highlands is the only place in MI.

Played Reflection Bay in Las Vegas yesterday. The ball is traveling a mile here. Literally was hitting 3 wood 280-290. G30 was killing it too. Ended up shooting a 38 on the front after starting bogey-bogey. Rushed to get the back 9 in and wasn't able to post a legit score.

36 holes of Michigan golf in so far! Some windy but sunny days here in West MI but the home course was looking great. As for my game, tee shot quality has been erratic, but approach shots as far out as 200 in have been surprisingly exceptional. Excited for mowed greens tomorrow!

I got 18 in today. It felt awesome to play a round of golf. I had 3 bad holes, but hit some quality shots.

I holed out for eagle on #9 from about 75 yards which was awesome. Kept me in the low 40's on the front lol

We finished 2nd in the flight. All solid matches. We made some key putts this morning and found our game in the 2nd match. 2 wins and 3 ties (no losses). Just not quite enough to win it. Great time had with OW!

For the area you visit, I know Hampshire is open.
Milham is open in Kalamazoo (walking only)
I am not sure about Lake Michigan Hills.

I imagine most places will be open with current 10 day forecast. It will just be a crap shoot on weather for that weekend. I might be interested in playing that weekend (Easter).

Played Golden Fox today, and course was in surprisingly decent shape. Having all the snow melt without any rain to speak of is great. Hit the ball okay, but the wedges came through to allow me to shoot a decent score.

I'VE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE!!! Just kidding, I hit the ball okay, considering the cold, breezy conditions. Hit 10 GIR, which is average for me. The ones I hit well felt amazing, and aside from a few notable exceptions, I was basically on target on most shots. I'm really happy with them, overall.
